Tiberius twisted his head again before answering.

ROLF. I am liek totally fine, dude. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 

Even battered as his face was, anyone could see the sudden revolted expression as he heard his own voice.

Woah. Dude. I sound wird and funky and chiz. D:<

The automaton twisted his head, once again.

Tiberius waved for Billy to go quickly. Before his voice changed again.

[Philote]

I didn't take the chance to find out if my shield would block the lanterns, I took off running again. I could still hear the lantern's screech behind me, but not as close as before. If I could only get out of their sight, then maybe the library would shift them away.

After a while I saw a familiar sight ahead. "Gob!" I called. I stopped for a brief moment next to the strange little creature. "Do you still have the wick?" Gob raises it up "Good, light it and we will follow it out. The lanterns have already glimpsed me, so we will need its distraction."

I pick gob up and race after the flame of the lit wick.

The wick burns it's way out of the library somehow and heads down the hall.

"Hey Eric how long do you think it would take for you explosives to go off?" Samuel ask just aware how long gob has probably stayed in the place they left him.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Billy is about to head inside when the wick suddenly burns up past him. Billy stares at it, wide eyed, before seeing Gob and Zaubar emerging from the darkness of the forbidden section. Gob sees him and wraps himself around one of Billy's leg.

"Gob! Mr. Zaubar!" he says, relieved, looking beyond them into the forbidden section. Zaubar can almost feel the good cheer draining from the boy. "Where's everyone else?"

[Philote]

"The same place you went. I fell off one of the bookshelves and they were gone after that. I didn't really have time to consider it to be honest, one of the lanterns caught sight of me." Zauber stops and looks over his shoulder to make sure that no lanterns are still in pursuit.

"I had Gob light the wick to distract from the fact that we were almost caught" Zauber says, then stops to think "Do you think that the explosion will signal to the others which way is out?"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Even if it did, the library would just turn them around again."

Billy looks at Zaubar, and Gob, and then a load explosion sends shutters through the library. Billy cringes. "Oh, I do hope that wasn't attached to anything to expensive. Nonetheless, that means a teacher should be along to investigate presently."

Billy sits down cross legged at the entrance to the Forbidden section. "Mr. Zaubar, you should leave. Mr. Tiberius is over there, all busted up. Please take him and Gob and get out of here. It's better than all of us getting in trouble."

[Philote]

Zauber stops, inspired by Billy's courage. He was not the kind of person to not stand by his friends. He grabs Billy by the shoulders and brings him back within the forbidden section. "We are going to do whatever we can to help them get out."

Zauber claps his hands together and focuses the rest of his mana. A shield wall of light rises into the air, shining out towards the rest of the forbidden section. "I'll have to stand here and focus to maintain this spell, but if they head towards this light they will make it out. Do whatever you can to attract them as well."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Billy nods, and looks at the golden pillar. He nodded, and went as far as he dared into the forbidden section. He took a deep breath, and began to shouted as load as he could.

"EVERYONE, PLEASE COME! FOLLOW THE SOUND OF MY VOICE! KEEP LOOKING AT THE LIGHT! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE SOON! IF NOT WE"LL ALL BE CAUGHT! PLEASE HURRY!"

He kept shouting.

Eric heard the desperate calls in the distance. They were faint at first, and he was unable to make out the words. As it grew louder he could tell it was Billy.

"BILLY, BILLY! WE"RE OVER HERE! Come on Samuel let's move!" Eric took off towards the sound of Billy's voice, taking care not to blink.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

A single lantern floated casually down the aisles. It's purple flame flickering in an almost cheery manner. It bobbed innocently along until it's light feel upon a large mass that should not be laying in the middle of the aisle. It was a female student, unconscious by the looks of it. Somewhere in it's magic created mind it knew how to react. It's light narrowed into a singular beam. trapping the girl in it's spotlight. The lantern then began to emit a high pitched screech, signaling its companions.

Other lanterns swarmed to the scene. each placing its spot light on Asoka. Soon there were so many lights focused on Asoka she could not be seen in the mass of accumulative purple light. Suddenly the screeching stopped, and with it the light. The aisle grew dark.

The lanterns and Asoka were nowhere to be seen.

(They've taken you to a holding cell. A place for intruders.)

As the students focused on signaling the others, they failed to notice the book that had been following them. It appeared innocently on a shelf nearby, it's brass lock glinting in the harsh light of the pillar. Then it appeared on the floor near the shelf, its pages rustling as if moved by some unknown hand. Then it was propped against the door, its cracked leather binding holding it neatly in place. Then it was gone, moved to somewhere outside the Forbidden Section.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Go, hurry, keep running until you get back to your dorms!" Billy called as the two rushed past him. "Gob!" the little monster stood at attention. "You to. go to my room, don't eat anything in it." The little monster nodded nervously, and ran out as well. Billy turned back.

"MISS YAMATA-SAN, PLEASE HURRY! WE WON"T BE ABLE TO STAY FOREVER!"

[The Junkyard Cat]

Without hesitation Samuel follows Eric hoping where ever they go is the way out.

The holding cell was dark, darker than even the the deepest cave in the world. Magic prevented any kind of sight. The darkness of the cell seemed to press in on all sides. It's inky cloth like a tight blanket that smothered its inhabitants making hard to even breath.

It was a long while that Asoka sat, silent and still in the black, inky darkness. Nothing moved, nothing made a sound. Until finally, a crack appeared in the darkness. A thin sliver of brilliant, white light that slowly expanded. It grew and grew until it became a rectangle of Light.

Asoka sits still not knowing whether or not the light is a trick.

"Well, you gonna sit there all night or what?" calls out a familiar voice. As the light dims, a figure is revealed in the doorway. It was Red.

"C'mon, I'm bustin' you out!"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka bolts upright, "Wh-what did you say?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I said I'm breaking you out of this dump. Let's move! This is kinda against the rules, but It'll be a cold day in heck before I let one of my students stay in the Holding Room."

Red motions for Asoka to follow her, then moves away from the doorway.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka moves after Red and looks to see what is around the area.

Asoka: "You called that 'the Holding Room.' What is it used for mainly beyond holding students who have been a little incorrect?"
