The Kethencian College of Magic RP (Part 2)

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Red looks around the empty halls as she leads the way. 'It's for intruders picked up by the College's defenses. One way in, No way out...at least from the inside."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka: "Interesting. Wonder how I ended up in there then."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Isn't it obvious? You got caught...and I had to bail you out." Red explains as she leads Asoka though the empty halls in a winding route, avoiding any people. Finally, they reach the Phoenix Wing.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka frowns, "I remember saying a good luck charm, then everything went blank after I felt lightning coursing throughout my body...."

Asoka pulls out the scroll that her sister had written the 'good luck charm' on, "Hmmmm, I guess it didn't work."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

At this point Billy's throat is so sore that he can barely speak, let alone call out anymore. He settles for making a sound like a worried puppy.

Out comes the pen and paper again, ans he scribbles another quick note.

"Where are you?"

A pair of coins later and it's out of his hands.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

The scroll appears next to Asoka and she catches it, then reads it. Asoka pulls out a scroll of her own and writes on it, "I'm at the Phoenix Wing. Tell you about it later."

She rolls it up then puts 2 coins in before it goes off to Billy.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Billy snatches the note out of the air, reads it, gives as good as a whoop as he can mange, and runs back to Zaubar.

"That's everyone." he says, voice horse and on the verge of collapse. "Help me with Mr. Tiberius." he says, leading Zaubar to the area he'd left Tiberius in.

"Can you stand, Mr. Tiberius?" he asks, slipping himself under one arm.

[Philote]

I dispel the shield wall, and take in a huff of air. The spell had really drained my strength from me. I slowly walk back outside the forbidden section and try to catch my breadth.

"What is the plan now? Run out of here as fast as we can?"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Grab his other arm, would you. He's pretty heavy." Croaks Billy, straining against the weight of Tiberius. "Then we run as fast as we can."

[Philote]

"What happened to him? He did not even enter in with us" Zauber says as he tries to help Billy. Zauber is not able to help a great deal after using so much energy on the spell earlier.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Slowly but surely they lift Tiberius to his feet, and begin to help him forward.

"I know, he showed up later to investigate the noise. As for he damage..."The next part comes out quiet, from somewhere deep and sad and far away. "I had an idea."

They carry him out of the library. Everyone who was awakened by the blast was in the other corridor, with no attention to spare for the three of them. And to think, Billy hadn't thought that the bomb would be any help. Goes to show how smart he was. So the three of them staggered onward, unmolested, toward the summoner dorms.

[Philote]

Zauber knew better to question further. The two of them dropped Tiberius off at his dorm, Zauber figured that he would repair himself however Automatons went about fixing themselves.

"We should head back to our dorms just to erase any other chance of possible suspicion towards us" Zauber thought out loud. "Find me tomorrow, we can study together and discuss what to do next."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"I...yes, alright. Will do. Thank you, Mr Zaubar. You were a big help." Very big, he thought, tonight would have been a disaster without you.

Billy wearily trudges his way back to his dorm and sneaks his way into his room. He takes the wooden spider doll on his bed and drops it on the floor. It was funny, he hadn't remembered putting in there, but he was far to tired and sore to care about that. Looking around, he saw Gob. He had fashioned a small bed in the bottom drawer of Billy's wardrobe, and was not snuggling in his clothes.

Metal note: get Gob something to wear. And somewhere proper to sleep.

Billy collapsed, still dressed, onto his bed. He was asleep in moments.

As the students went to sleep and the commotion in the halls died down a faint rustling echoed through the halls. The familiar scratch of paper on paper and the crinkle of crisp leather. But the sound would fall of deaf ears as there was nobody in the halls to hear it.

"Now where shall I start?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Soon the sun rose and a new day at the College began. A small wisp trailed through halls announcing the new day with it's high pitched squeal.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Wulf yawned, and stretched, jumping from bed with a spring in his step. He was all smiles and laughs, and nothing would bring him down. Not even Nona-Nephele or Zap would ruin his day today.

Why?

Because, today...they would be learning how to conduct electricity.

[Philote]

Zauber had been determined to pick up on his classes the day before, but as he got up from bed it became clear that it was not a good option. He was still feeling drained from last night, not to mention how his body ached from the falls in the library.

The rigors of class would have to wait till at least after lunch. For now, he would just take it easy and check out what was going on around the school. Maybe he could pick up some tricks to help with his wards.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Students were much more active than normal that morning. They moved excitedly about the halls. Many had gathered near the site of Eric's "distraction" from last night. The walls had been scorched black and many wall ornaments had been scattered. Several small constructs were working furiously to repair the halls.

"Whoa, what happened here?"’ exclaimed one student.

"Looks like a bomb went off", cried another.

"I'll bet Ashgrove is behind this for sure," one student announced.

[The Junkyard Cat]

Watching the crowd gather Samuel wondered if their infiltration of the library would be found out. "Maybe it's best not to think about it too much." He says to himself falling back down on the ground he watches as the clouds fall from the sky.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"WAKE UP!" says the small form bouncing on Billy. It had been at this for several minutes, and it was getting kind of hard to ignore. Finally, Billy sat up, leaving Gob tumbling off of him and onto the floor, where he looked up expectantly.

Billy looked down at the small gray creatures wide WIDE grin, and couldn't be angry no matter how tired and sore he was. "Alright Gob," he said faking his usual enthusiasm, "lets start the day."

He got dressed and made his way down the hall, lacking the usual spring in his step, Gob tottering behind him.
