Seeing the lanterns coming, I call down to the group below.

"Everyone, the lantern's are on their way. Get up here already!"

"Attempting to ascertain the source of the noise."

The automaton looked at the rather ominous lights behind Billy.

"Perhaps we should discuss this later?"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Lantern lights!

"Yes, that would be a good Idea. Will these shelves support your weight?"

[Philote]

I stand up on the bookshelf, trying to get a better look at which direction to take to avoid the lanterns. Looking around, I end up not paying enough attention to my footing, and with one wrong step I find myself falling off the other side of the bookshelf.

I land with a thud on a light shield connected between two shelves. I raise myself off my back and open my eyes......
......to find myself starring right into the light of a lantern. "Uh...Guys!" I say nervously into the empty air. By this time, I have already shifted away to a new section of the library.

[Zaleramancer]

"Possibly. I think I shall risk it."

Shelves creak dangerously as Tiberius ascends.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

On top of them the wood groans ominously, bus seems to hold. Billy scrambles up after Tiberius.

"If you were looking for the source of the noise, you found him." Billy says sheepishly. "Well, not just me, Miss Yamata-san, Mr. Ashgrove, Mr. Zaubar, and Mr. Irving are all lost in here somewhere. Try to keep sight of me, or else the library may shift and we'll lose one another."

Billy remembers." Oh, we found something about the thing that attacked with the spider dolls. It has red eyes and it's trapped underneath the school."

The lantern floats by silently underneath them.

"You wouldn't happen to know what happens when you're caught by one of those, do you?"

[The Junkyard Cat]

Following the others samuel climbs the book shelves at a quicker pace. Reaching the top he turns drops his hand down. "Hurry I'll pull each of you up!" he yells to them

[Zaleramancer]

"Shall we find out?"

Tiberius pulls a piece of what appears to be scrap metal from his pocket.

"A midnight snack." The automaton explained.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Alright, let's. Really, what's the worst that could happen?" Billy says, looking over the edge at the lantern.

[Zaleramancer]

He shrugs, and throws the scrap metal directly at the lantern.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

As soon as the scrap enters the lantern's light The lantern reacts. Its wide spread light becomes a tight, focused beam that is directed at the scrap metal. The scrap is trapped in place, floating in midair as the lantern homes in on it. Once the scrap is contained the lantern emits a high pitched screech.

[Zaleramancer]

"It appears to merely capture, rather than attack."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Okay, that can be plan B. I would still rather not get caught." Suddenly, he gets an idea. "Mr. Tiberius, do you blink?"

[Zaleramancer]

"Not unless you require it for some reason." Said a rather confused automaton.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"And if you were going fast enough, could you leap from shelf to shelf without breaking them?" Billy is talking very fast now.

[Zaleramancer]

"Perhaps.."

Tiberius was getting an odd sinking feeling in his core, where a stomach would a been.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"And can you carry me?" Billy said, his eyes taking on a manic sheen.

[Zaleramancer]

"I shall be your unwilling mountain goat, it seems."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Yes! Nothing can go wrong with this plan!" Billy says, standing and taking a look around the library. "There!" he says, pointing in a direction. "The shelves seem to sooner over there. I tried this once before, but I blinked mid jump," He says, wrapping him arms around Tiberius neck. Once he sure he's got a good grip, he smiles.

"All right, Mr. Tiberius, let's begin operation Paranoid Goat!"
