With the lantern right in my face, I dissipate the shield I landed on and fall the rest of the way to the floor as a beam focuses through the area I was previously in. As I hit the ground, I scramble up and begin running at full speed as more lanterns join the one that found me. The lanterns let out a loud screech as they chase me through the halls of the library.

Keeping his footing Samuel reacts and pulls up Eric to the book shelf. "Okay be a bit more careful. As for Yama....wait where did Yamata go?" Samuel says looking back at the last place he recalled her to be.

Having lost sight of the others, Asoka climbs up the bookshelves and moves around trying to find them again.

The shelf they land on shudders, but does not break.

"And now?"

Billy is shaking. That had been uch more of a rush then he expected.

"W-w-w-we ke-e-ee-ep at it unt-t-t-til we reach the e-e-e-nd of the Library!"
We either end up in the proper library, he thought, Or we smash through a wall. Then I can come back with rope, and find everyone else.

Tiberius shrugged, careful to not knock Billy off, then crouched for his next leap.

The poor abused shelves creaked horribly as the automaton leapt again.

Wulf walked down the Storm Hall, quizzically zapping an electrical arc from one hand to another. What the heck had happened to his friends? How he wanted to show them what he had picked up in class, and see what skills they had gained as well.

Oh, well. They were sure to turn up sooner or later.

I charge through the corridors formed from the bookshelves as fast as my Correnian muscles can take me. I barely have time to plan anything as the lanterns jet to catch me after having spotted me. With barely any other choice, I jump and spin around midair, raising a shield wall behind me in the space between two walls of books. Now to see if it would have any affect on the lanterns.

The book cases were coming to an end, Tiberius could see a wall up ahead.

He wanted to stop.. but inertia was a cruel mistress. The automaton, unable to stop, whooshed off the last shelf right into a wall. Then, he noted another fact.

Gravity was also a cruel mistress.

The two students began to fall.

Billy let out a high pitched "I'm sorry," as Tiberius plowed into the wall.

Then,as the two began to fall, Billy had a realization. If Tiberius landed heads up, he would be under the metal man. This would cause him to die quite messily, and leave a ghastly stain on the carpet. Well, that just would not do. It would be rude. So, he let go and threw himself off of Tiberius. The Automaton cratered into the ground as Billy did much the same to a nearby table, which splintered into several pieces.

Stars danced in front of his eyes. Behind them, he could see what looked like the regular library. Well, that was good. Now he could go find everyone. He tried to pick himself up with his arms, and instead kicked wildly with his legs.

Well, okay, sure, he supposed he could lay here until his brain sorted that problem out. Shouldn't take a moment.

At least they had made it.

[Zaleramancer]

".lufniap etiuq saw tahT" Tiberius said as he stared blankly up at the ceiling. Someone appeared to have given it the illusion of spinning motion.

He remained functional, though severely bent. A metalsmith could work this out, surely. But walking would be a challenge until then.

It occurred to him that he did not know where Billy had landed. He had heard Billy land nearby, but his neck plates had been jostled during the fall, making glancing around difficult.

Great, now he was hearing tongues. Nothing good ever came of that. Oh well, better use his last moments to make recompense.

"Mr.Tiberius, If you can hear me, I'm sorry. That was a really stupid thing I asked you to do."

Asoka continues moving around. She'd lost all sight of the others and needed to get into contact with them, fast. To calm herself a little, she decided to say a little good luck charm Kuroko-nee-san had sent her.

Asoka: "Dragons soar across the world,
             To move as fast as them I wish,
             Fire strikes and lightning plays,
             Death is best as a cold-served dish.
             Dragon Stride."

The second she finishes reciting the 'charm,' lightning courses throughout the area in uncontrolled streaks and Asoka screams once before falling to the ground unconscious.

Tiberius jerked slightly, joins and bent metal scrapping with a sound like nails on a chalkboard. He manged to achieve a sitting position, only by virtue of his left arm, which remained functional.

"Oh, it's just yo-" Billy stops suddenly when he see's the state of Tiberius.
He forces himself to get up and wander over.

"Are you alright, Mr. Tiberius. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."

[Zaleramancer]

"..yltcefrep eb lliw I taht uoy erussa I." Tiberius, for the first time, notices his voice. "!rehtob hO"

The automaton managed to prop himself up, the grasp his head.

He gave it a sharp twist- once left, once right.

"Forgive me, My vocal box was Malfunctioning." He said, voice jumping up and down in volume and pitch.

"Oh bother."

He looked at Billy, wondering at his expression and words before recalling that most humans were quite fragile compared to his kind.

"Do not worry. This is merely inconveniencing."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Okay." Says Billy, shaken. A Skeleton, he thinks, A Skeleton but better.

Billy looks around the room, his eyes falling on the entrance to the forbidden section, and the wick.

They could find their way out. Of course they could. I mean, they were all wizards. They would be fine. Yet there was a nagging feeling gnawing at the boys soul. Guilt, crushing guilt. Without him, they wouldn't be in there right now. Without him, Mr. Tiberius wouldn't have gotten all busted up. It wasn't their fault, he'd either asked them, or they had been caught up in his tail wind.

"I have to go back in. I can't just.... they're all lost and...." he looked at Tiberius and felt a wave a sharp panic. "I have to go back. Are you sure you'll be okay here?"
