So, how's your card selection going?

Done. And they've been numbered for use in the Random Number Gen. Was just about to post it. Lemme know what you think.

Here's my cards.
I have a strategy!
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Nice, I'm hoping my strategy is gonna be effective enough to be a challenge.
So, for my card pics (at least the creatures), use the infobox pics from WOMWiki, okay? And for Nephelokokkygia, use this one. Otherwise, artistic freedom choosing pics.

I'll see if I can translate these..
I'm having to use the default M:TG mana symbols as place-holders.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

It's fine, the obscure ones can be cast aside for now, if it's too much of a bother to find suitable symbols.

Though, some things, like Claw Swipe, are rather unnecessary.
You can make a basic attack without expending any energy. :P Also, not sure how I'm supposed to fit PP in..

Oh, so how do physical attacks like that translate?
And maybe you can change it to mana or whatever...sorry, my mind is kinda programmed to Pokemon. You know, where you flip a coin, or draw an energy card, or one attack has three symbols next to it? I was kind of confused for a second...

Nice (though the H should be capital).
And the X. How many does that represent? Do you expend more to increase it's power?

See the numbers in the bottom right?
First one is how much the creature does when it attacks. The second is toughness (Hitpoints; Or to be more precise, how much damage it can suffer in one turn and live.) A creature can normally take a single action per turn. So if your dragon attacked, it'd do 3 damage. It could take 4 damage before being destroyed.

(It is, the font just doesn't recognize it.)
You spend X (Where X is however many Fire Mana you wish to expend). So if you spend 5, then you'd do (5-2) 3 Damage. It works best if you hoard the Fire Mana.

Ah.
I feel so smart; I think you explained this before...

I see.
So hoarding mana would come in what form? How does one...um...collect it?

You start out with two Mana of your choice. I suggest adding things like this that add mana.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Also, you can choose one type of Mana and gain one of that type each turn. (To prevent people from being locked out.)

Okay, so #11, the Magic Wand can be replaced with a Water Mana card. And #13, the Spell Book can be replaced with an Air Mana card.

Okay, that's cool with me.
So could I start with an Air and Water mana card, and then choose to gain one Fire Mana card each turn?
