I was going to have Fate beat Divinity (Like Fates being more powerful than the Greek Gods), but I'd need something that Divinity is strong against, yet Fate is weak against.
Maybe Fate beats Divinity, Divinity beats Death, but Death beats Fate.

And this triad beats everything else.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Note that Death is not about Undead.

Death is Grim Reapers and Psychopomps, not Zombies.

Obviously.

But, does that imply the Death has power on two different levels? As both minor power (zombies, etc) and major power (Grim Reaper, etc)?

I'm also running into weird combos as I move on down the elemental ladder...

I have Sand beating Sound and Psychic here.

It's odd.

And how did you come to that conclusion?

Time and Water beat Fire, Fire beats Ice and Plant.
Fire and Metal beat Plant, Plant beats Earth and Time.
Plant and Ice beat Earth, Earth beats Time and Lightning.
Plant and Earth beat Time, Time beats Fire and Metal.
Water and Lightning beat Metal, Metal beats Plant and Fire.
Stone and Sound beat Lightning, Lightning beats Metal and Water.
Lightning and Ice beat Water, Water beats Fire and Metal.
Fire and Lightning beat Ice, Ice beats Water and Metal.
Air and Sand beat Sound, Sound beats Thunder and Dreams.

Psychic and Dreams are neutral, Dreams beats Darkness, Psychic beats Light.
Sound beats Dreams, Sand beats Psychic.

Light and Darkness are neutral to each other, and only have Dreams and Light as weaknesses.

Oh, and I have no idea what to do with Sand.

I like it.

So, um, good luck with those others.

And don't forget Poison.

It's an overtly complicated mess.

 Nature is complicated and messy.

Deal with it.

And you have simplified the complex. Obviously, I was wise in consulting the Zaleramancer.

I knew you could do it.

Got everything except Sound, but whatever. :I

Now, we can move onto the next portion of our agenda.

Cost to play cards.

Well, should we have Mana/Power/Etc costs?

No.
