Oh, hey, what do you think of making Metal and Sand like Light and Dark? The two could be neutral to one another. And if you haven't decided anything for Sound or Gravity yet...maybe have those two be neutral to one another. Neither can really affect the other...
Why?

How many Gravity Mythical Beings could there possibly be?

Fine. They're incorporated into Earth, then?

(Just so you know, they're still separate on the actual Warriors of Myth Wiki)

So. Are we ready to give this a test run?

Let me show you the other cards I've added to my deck.

Just to be fair.

And Magic Chastity Belt and Mystic Fountain form yours.

I have a few copies of cards. 3xAmazon Warriors, etc.. to make 25.

Okay, cool.

So, any particular rules of play I should be keeping in mind? How do we decide who goes first? Is me playing a card as simple as saying "I play such and such card, using such and such move"?

Flip a coin. I call heads.

Pick a card, pay the cost, card is placed on field or whatever.

I'll keep track of them. Creatures can't act the turn they're summoned, though, or act more than once per turn.

We should make another thread for this.

I'll do so now.

Okay, so, I'm still foggy on how I pay costs.

You have Mana. You want Card. Card has Mana Cost. Subtract Cost from your Mana and Play Card.

For example, I have 5 Fire Mana.

I want to summon Amazon Archer. It has a Mana Cost of 1; and is Fire elemented.

I subtract the cost (1) from my Fire Mana (5) to leave me with 4 Fire Mana.

Amazon Archer is placed on the field.

How can I tell how much mana I have to start? Do we each start with 5 mana?

Didn't we go over this?

We start with..  Two Mana of any Element. You gain one Mana of an element of your choosing each turn. (If you choose Fire Mana, you get one Fire Mana each turn).

First problem I see: The Mana Costs of the Mana Generating Items.

As it stands, you can't activate them without paying the type of Mana they supply.

So if you don't have Fire Mana, you can't use the Fire Mana Making Thing.

We'll have to change that after this test run.

Yeah, I noticed the problem, too. Since I can play nothing at the point. Even if I took two mana of the same type, I'd need to wait a turn before I could even play the Gargarensis.

Mystic Fountain, Sacred Fire and Floating Island now have no mana cost to play.

Can you do anything now?
