Hmm that would help if I had any questions to ask. I just can't think of a fluid way to hop back in.

Interesting concept, but no. I can't say I would participate. As much as I love the MH games, an RP would be difficult to keep in line. Besides, you have other RP ideas you need to work on first before you start throwing in more. We have so many RPs waiting to start.

Yes, if it were to come onto the list (even though I can't say I'd participate...in fact, I probably wouldn't), it'd be a while before it even got up and running. Especially considering how long it's taking to get through things currently lined up.
Speaking of which, I forget if I ever got any proper count of people actually interested in joining the Evolutionist's Stone reboot. Anybody interested, please say so.

Give me half a vote as I'm only half sure I want to. Just because I may not stick with it. You've got a lot of stuff already laid out and most of it just sails over my head. I don;t know yet whether I'll be able to help or not.

I don't intend to let stuff sail over anybody's head this time.
I'll gladly take questions, and try to adjust storytelling to make things quite clear. And again, very minor parts are set in stone. Nearly everything other than the demise/downfall of the Overlords is in flux, as far as what it canon and what is not.

Eh, sure whatever.
I think the main problem I would have is that the main characters are really bland to me. I can barely recall their personality traits. Which is normally not a problem for me with characters in stories.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Were they bland the entire time? Or after I was nearly the only one trying to run things?

They never seemed.. peopleish to me.
Likely because I missed the setting of the first bits of their characterization.

Let's see... Jack- Demon, personality.. brave? Cass?Tess?- Mind reader.. ... ??? Finn?Lance?Flynn?- Strong? Choleric? ???- Freezy girl.. Hispanic? Ben- Musical? Calm? ???- Arm dude. Belligerent?

Well, how exactly am I supposed to take that? Did you read the entire thing from the beginning, or did you come in after it had been going for a while?
That is to say, what about their characterization did you miss? Do you mean that we didn't discuss how they first came together as a team and whatnot? I'm trying to take into consideration as many factors of team dynamics and plot development as possible, so, if you wouldn't mind offering any other hints and suggestions, too.

I see.
Well, hopefully, you all can help make the characters more memorable and likeable/relateable. This time, if nobody objects, I intend to give you full reign of whichever character you take. Meaning, this time, you would be choosing from characters with predisposed powers and profiles, but not predisposed personalities. You decide what personality they display, and make of that personality what you will.

Nadia, wasn't it?
Warm and somewhat temperamental, contrasting with ice and freezing powers.. Ben was pacifistic. Reality warping music. Forgot his past, wanted to remember. Florence?Fynn? was a former overlord. Bit bitter and choleric? The many armed man just liked to hit things. Mandy, wasn't the mind reader called? Bit manipulative? Superficial? Details leak back.

Yes, those were intended, though obviously didn't come across very well in narration...

I remember them.
Just not clearly. It was quite some time ago that I started reading, after all.

True enough, but when you read through it, did you remember thinking the story was any good? Or did you not really care for it, but maybe read through it to see if it would get better?

I found it to be interesting enough, it's just the sheer size staggered.

Hm, yes, again with the story's size.
Well, from here on out, I'll try to keep the story within more closed parameters. Less people randomly popping up out of nowhere. Like I suggested for Jack's group to meet up with Wayne, I intend to meld people into the environment more realistically from now on. Bringing people in as is plausible to plot, making actions/reactions/intentions/motives realistic, letting people actually DIE, etc.
