Just concern yourself with putting forth your best effort. Your level of skill is absolutely no problem at all. Editing the story will be a group effort, as far as people feel like helping out with that part of the story. Where people see spelling errors, grammar errors, continuity inconsistencies/plotholes, we can work together to make the story an overall success.

All of that can be discussed, when the story begins again, in the RP Comments thread. Even if what we add is boring or cliche, I'm expecting (truly hoping) that everybody here can be mature enough and concerned enough about the success of the RP to both give and take constructive criticism.

In all, everybody will just be doing the best they can do, and lending what knowledge and expertise they possess, and asking others to help fill in the gaps where their knowledge and skills fall short.

And, of course, any time you feel like you're lost, or losing interest, or maybe want to back out, then please let me know in advanced. If the problem is one that can be fixed, I'll try my best to fix it. If it can't be fixed, then please, at least, try to hold on until a plausible point when the character you play can be picked up by another person (or written out of the story).

Dang it, I wish Dryad could make her way back here. Not sure what's keeping her.

I love how she kept history for LOC's entire First Age. I wish she could do that for Evolutionist's Stone, so we could keep up with events of the old story, and the upcoming reboot.

You guys, when is your first day back to school?

I kinda remember that the times you guys most cared to come on here was when you were trying to use the forum to procrastinate on school work.

Perhaps when most of you (and myself) are looking for something more interesting to do than homework, then we can start the Evolutionist's Stone roleplay reboot. I'd really love to get it going some time soon. Just, I hope that I'll have enough folks interested and available by then.

I mean, I'm really excited with how well this latest New Beginning arc is turning out. I think our collaboration efforts are getting much better. And I'm rather getting the hang of gently nudging the story in the direction it should go in, if I'm not thinking more highly of my efforts than I should.

I think it really could work this time.

And, to be honest, I'm so anxious to get around to the Evolutionist's Stone reboot, that I think I may just put the prologue up as soon as I can get around to writing it, whether or not we're done with other RPs or not.

I have an idea I really like for beginning the story, so the sooner I get the idea out of my head, the better.

Does anybody need a refresher of characters, to see who they want to play?

I know Bug calls Jack, and GV calls Wayne, but...nobody else seems to have claims on any other characters. Mind you, character profiles (height, weight, power, etc) are set in stone, but personality is not. You guys give them their personalities, this time around. And the character(s) you take will be solely yours to work with.

Also, as GM, I'll be giving you clues via the white text, to help you have a better clue, this time around, with where the story should be heading. Though, these things are totally up for negotiation and compromise.

If this current New Beginning is any implication of our capacity for collaboration, you guys will not regret working together with me on this RP.

Any and all characters you create, if and when we encounter them in the story, are yours to freely control, unless you give said control to me or another RPer.

For sure. Whatever you have in mind is definitely on the table for discussion.

Not to mention, since we'll have more people, and each will (mostly) contribute shorter posts than in the previous incarnation, then we probably will get to two overlords in a single thread. And if we keep it constantly going like with New Beginning, we'll have much more time, and much better use, of characters.

More character development, less rushing into victory, more diverse plotlines (instead of going straight for the Overlord) etc, etc. Sadly, I only noticed my narrating and story-planning flaws right after I gave up narrating it.
