A town full of super soldiers who are ruled by a power-imbuer who can give or take the powers away at a moments notice.

A semi-religious based town that either A:sees a super powered person as a god or on the opposite spectrum B:Hates and hunts down "supers" to sacrifice and or just mindlessly kill

A Sylar like character who hunts and kills supers for power

A kid a/o person with the ability to cancel out powers that a dictator uses for his own benefit.

A character who in poetic irony is suicidal but can't die by normal means

A rapunzel type character with controllable hair.

any of these could be ideas

i'd make more but my hands hurt from typing.

1. The two full of supersoldiers...there's something like that coming up. Not the power-imbuer part, but when we get to them, you'll be quite glad about that.

2a. Possible. In fact, likely.
2b. Also possible and/or likely.

3. Several of these have been made by Wish and, I think, Mr. Awesome. Actually, a hilarious number of them, to be frank. I'll keep most of them in cold storage, and perhaps only have them cameo in the news.

4. Actually, this was a plot already in play with the previous incarnation, and will be in play again this time. In the previous incarnation, it was a really slow-moving plot, despite the rest of the story moving along really quickly. Hopefully, we won't make that mistake again.

5. Also most likely to show up in the news, as a gag. In fact, there's gonna probably be numerous gags like this.

6.We have a character like this. One Jacquelin Sharona.

I can;t express how much I respect you guys as Roleplayers. I've tried participating in RPs elsewhere but there all just mindless, inane chatter with no thought to story or legibility. Everything is "I say this" "I do this" "Blah blah blah"

So seriously, you guys make RPing a pleasant experience and I respect you all for that. Thank you.

I know I'm not always on top of my game (I forget things, and sometimes don't read important parts, and worse sometimes), but I try to take it seriously. The objective is to have fun, but in a structured way, as structure is necessary, right? Not to mention, we've been together in this same group of RPers for years (since as early as '09 for most, and '08 on the main site for me and a couple others). So I do really credit you guys for helping me to be more confident and share my work.

Before y'all, I was making superpowers on Activating Evolution, but otherwise, kept my work to myself. The Penultimate? Celadon? Shadowulf? Nobody knew about them but me and my closest RL friends.

It's great to have people you can talk to and have fun with, even if my hilariously lame idea of fun is writing.

And just as Wulf said, I never really had anyone else to talk about all these head canons concerning my character that I had before.

I've noticed an alarming number of superhumans in the Character thread. And also, an alarming number of white males, none of whom have physical mutations to truly classify them as mutants. So I've added a couple pages' worth of supers and normals to the character roster for ESRP. Some folks who aren't white, some who aren't male, some who aren't normal looking. Some who are white and male and normal looking, but who don't have powers. Just check it out.

 So, the latest arc of New Beginning is nearly over.

And I'm really ready to get back to trying to work on the Evolutionist's Stone RP, in case I hadn't mentioned it my daily quota of a hundred times today already. Anybody else anticipating it?

Let me know if your feelings about it change. This time around, I would like to have a cast that's ready, willing AND able, not just one or two out of three.

I know I have some ideas for some of them. And hopefully, I'll be able to work some more into the story, who really belong there, personality and/or power-wise. To make each setting as lively as possible.

 Okay, so I do apologize for taking so long to finish this arc, folks.

As soon as I wake up tomorrow (that is, later today, the 29th), I will try to get onto this arc's ending. It won't take longer than two posts, if I can help it. I'll try to wrap up everything in a nice, neat little bow.

 If all goes according to plan, things will be resolved in that order, and will end in Zale's Big Boom (sorry, Zale, Big Bang was already taken ). I'll try to make it a big deal, like the end of the zombie apocalypse we did a couple years ago (for those of you who were here back then, and remember that).

 So, um, yeah. If I haven't started by the time you guys are ready to see this thing brought to a close, then just message me in this thread. Any final finishing moves you want me to make, I can, provided some advanced notice.

 Also, thanks a lot guys, for putting up with me commandeering the thread like this. I had an idea, and you guys dropped what you were doing and tried your best to make it as fun and worth writing as I could have hoped for. I really appreciate your cooperation, and everybody staying in pretty good lock-step. Narration was fun, but so was reading you guys' responses to what I threw at you. Though I likely won't be with NB for a while after this arc, this will certainly be going in my mental archives of the better NB arcs we've had. And hopefully, I've done a good job of providing an entertaining, engaging and challenging arc, for you all to involve yourself with. It's been fun.
