Rapture Virus

At one point, there would be a disease outbreak which would halves the population -there is a retrovirus in the water supply which turns 20% of raptures into human beings again, kills 30% (bypasses all known powers) and leaves 50% unaffected, but they too will spread the virus until they gain immunity to it.

I thinking of returning to the virus idea though.

I've got another rapture idea:
Name:Unknown.
Alias: Toby.
Rapture: Can communicate with telepaths and use psionic energy to supply power to the engines, so they work without fuel or oxygen. His body was imbued to be immune to the direct effects of all known raptures by James, since it is an object, not a living organism.
Side Effect: Toby's body has intergrated itself within the cabin of a 747, giving him psychic control of his body.
Side: Toby, a former pilot, works for The Six, carrying all except James (as he has no combat rapture and has no immune system) to missions. Reports of the team of six have not mentioned whether or not Toby is counted as member or a form of transport, since there are so few known people and Toby is a fully sentient rapture.

Name: Alisha Swift
Rapture: Alisha has accelerated mitotic division, meaning her cells replicate more rapidly. This enables her to heal any injury a human could in hours or even less. Her muscle tone develops faster, making her a champion swimmer in an Olympic division for raptures.
Side effect: Alisha has an accelerated metabolism, meaning she must eat much more than normal to maintain her weight. She also ages several times faster, but her partner has a rapture which reverses the ageing process through physical contact.
Side: None really, she enjoys being a rapture on an island of raptures, which is located off the coast of the USA. Before she turned, she was bullied due to being overweight and was injured easily, but when her dormant rapture surfaced, she was delighted, becoming a "size 0" in mere weeks and healing rapidly. Years later, she is married with a family.

Name: James Swift
Rapture: James can inject a serum which, when drunk with any liquid, reverses aging to approximately 25 years old. If taken regularly, the subject will age to their prime (about 25) and not age forwards at all. This has proven useful to his wife, who ages much faster than normal.
Side effect: The serum released into subjects through his skin affects him too, as well as producing small swollen lumps in his body if he does not use it enoguh.
Side: None really, he is just a "super doctor" in a country of raptures. His clinic provides youth to any raptures or humans who pay a small price -he does this not only for a living, but to reduce his side effects.

The country they live in:
-A small country which recently gained independence from America.
-It is not a country of only raptures, as some humans falsely think, but a country where raptures and humans are equals.
-This country has unique medical treatments, such as rapture abilities and the virus itself, due to the high population of raptures able to provide these unique treatments. They offer to treat others from other country, but patients first have their minds and memories read by telepaths to discover how humans treat raptures and vice versa first. If they are hostile, treatment is postponed until they solve these issues.
-The entire country is dedicated to a similar government outside their borders.

I just like to type down my ideas, especially since I get feedback on a greater scale, with people who generally share my interests.

It's part of the reason I was attracted to the superpower list. I viewed this site for at least several months to likely a year or more before I joined (not even commenting on anything). That's why I wasn't immature on the site for very long (we all did, but it depends on how fast we grew out of it).

Have you ever heard of overloading?Vamping?Vrii?Basically if you believe then you know it can be done from a distance and can inflict...interesting harm on the victim, especially if they don't put shields up. Also, YAY MY 1000th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
