Well, we've got too many running now.

We likely won't get to this until late February, early March.

I don't know about everyone else, but I was just brainstorming.

If I were in this RP, I would only use one or two Raptures.

Wait a minute, I'm currently too busy holding a cork in mid air for petty groveling.

Me, too. Though it's not to say some couldn't be NPCs.

Of course. NPC's in an RP are important.

Should we work to make this a webcomic? I think it would attract a lot of views.

I kind of like the main idea, but I feel you missed a real opportunity by not hiving all the powers be themed after disease.

What do you mean? Why would that improve plot development or gameplay?

Yes, that would be awesome, granted somebody here has the tech to pull it off.

Just a thought. I just like it when things are thematic.

In fact, I may have mistaken this thread for another one when I said that. I think the other might have been the Patient Files or something along those lines.

After Pokemon, this can be the next One Shot maybe.

Re: Rapture Virus

Gentleman Vaultboy
This post was updated on .
Name: Steven Swiss
Rapture: Mad Tinker - Technopath. Sees living things as machines and is able to interact with them in the same way.

Example: Steven comes home to find his father, whom he sees as a robot, dead on the floor. Steven decides to fix this, easily taking his father apart exactly like one would a toaster. The mans disassembled body does not bleed even when he is lying in parts strewn all over the kitchen counter. Stevens mother comes in, screams, and promptly passes out. Steven finds that the trouble was in his fathers energy distribution system, knows in non-Steven world as his arteries, which are so clogged with gunk as to be unusable. Even though he could unclog them and put them back, Steven decides that that would not solve the problem and goes to fetch some larger tubing from the garage. The new tubing correctly installed so that this will hopefully not be an issue in the future, Steven reassembles his father and switches him back on. The man awakens right as rain with no side effects other than his veins being slightly move pronounced then they were before. His old arteries do not rot, and Steven cleans them out in case they should ever be of use. The man has no idea what has occurred. Steven goes to his mother and reboots her, whereupon she is convinced she collapsed from overwork and what she witnessed in the kitchen was a bad dream.

Side effect: Lack of empathy due to seeing himself as the only living thing on the planet. Fervent belief that everyone around him is a robot. Deep blue eyes that, upon close inspection, contain detailed blueprints. Blueprints change every time Steven blinks depending on what he's looking at.

Re: Rapture Virus

Gentleman Vaultboy
Rutgar Lornne.
Rapture: Wolfpack Tactics - Lornne is able to mentally awaken the wild instincts of the animals around him and direct them as a pack toward a single objective. This process leaves them with no higher cognitive abilities for the duration of the control, forcing them to rely completely on Lornne's mental directions.
Side effect: Lornne appears to be regressing into a more bestial state.

Philip Charles Lithman
Rapture: Snakefinger - Philip's right index finger is a sake like creature with no eyes but a large mouth filled with gnashing teeth. This creature can be extended to a great length, and will attempt to bite what Philip wills. Once Snakefinger is attached, Philip can drain a quality, trait, or information from the target. He can also impart traits that he has in this manner.
Example: Philip uses Snakefinger to bite a metal girder, draining the metallic quality from it and gaining metallic properties. He later meets another person whom he attacks with Snakefinger, draining away their memories for his own use. He then drains a rock for it's rock qualities and injects them into the persons body, making them look like a rock so no one will find them.
Side Effect: Philip's right index finger has no bones, no fingernail, and a large mouth at the tip.
