stretch this into two hundred chapters. some of it might be out of order.
Plane full of kids crash land on island. two end up next to each other, ones average kid, the other is overweight, overweight kid get's the hated nick name piggy. The kids find a conch shell in a fresh water pool, average kid blows it. The sound attracts the other kids who survived the crash. They decide to elect the average kid as the leader, much to the disdain of the boy's Quire leader. They start to build a civilization, a few buildings, a meeting place, etc, but they keep goofing off and not much gets done. The younger children make up a boogey man that lives in the jungle which is a manifestation of their fear. During all of this they take advantage of Piggy's glasses to start fires, keep that in mind. One night a parachuter bails ship and lands on the top of the mountain on the island,breaking his neck and dying on impact. The children just catch sight of this from the shore, so a search party goes up to check. They see the dismembered corpse propped up by the tattered parachute and run for their lives before getting close enough to actually see anything. On the way back it ends up a ship passed, but the quire boys who were supposed to be watching the signal fire let it go out when they hunted for a bore. Later, after much infighting, and etc. The quire boys finally surround a bore and kill it in a wild ritualistic circle. After that they mount it's head in a spear and chuck it into the woods. break: Affter or before this perhaps, they set the woods on fire in an attempt ot kill the boogey monster, subsequentally burning one of them alive in the confusion. End break: Which somehow allows it to land directly into one boy's secret hiding place/haven scaring the pants off of him. spoiler..by the way the pig skull is the lord of the flies..... After much more infighting the boy with the secret hiding place from before slowly goes insane to the point that the pig skull is talking to him. This drives him to look to the top of the mountain himself. He discovers that it is actually a paratruper, and runs back to tell the group...unfortunately this happens at night and the boys confuse him for the beast and kill him in a ritualistic stabbing circle. His corps washes into the ocean, and the paratruper ends up dislodging from his point and washing away into the sea....Oh right the average boys'name may have been Simon, or Jack, I continually get the name of the quire leader and the average leader boy mixed up. SKip several chapters, the QUire boys and pretty much everyone except Simon and Piggy defect to the other side of the island and begin their own savage hunting tribe. Later they steal Piggy's glasses. When SImon and Piggy try to get them back the boys drop a giant rock from the top of their hide out killing Piggy. After that they hunt Simon through the forest, burning it as they go, until he runs all the way to the other side of the island where Low and behold A U.S ship has found them because of the fire. The captain asked what happened, Simon sums it up as. "We crash landed here, and have been living here for months, Several of us were killed." The Captain says nothing solemnly believing him, and then all of the boys break down crying. After that theirs a large speil about the loss of innocence.
