Oh, right, forgot you said that.

So, the other idea, with those characters we suggested, is entirely out of the question? You won't even include that awesome Rubik's Cube world I suggested?

Multiple universes....infinite possibilities...

Also, I thought Phi or Zale suggested that.

I'm not sure you're quite on the right page there. We are talking about my animation.

You said..."Our base" which implied that you were in the animation...Also, the characters have no base.

No no....there is only one set of characters....and not an infinite set of universes, just an infinite set of possibilities for what could potentially populate the few universes I have yet to create.

No, it was me. Just cause I can't solve a Rubik's Cube, doesn't mean I can't suggest one for the theme of an alien superhuman world...

I see. So the new idea implies that the heroes have no base. Where do they convene? Just wherever they can? Sounds inconvenient.

Also, does this mean that the Rubik's Cube world can't be involved as a base for some other organization (even if only for some cameo, or a secondary plot point)?

Having a base would be far more inconvenient. They'd have to travel between planets and across universes just to get back to it. This whole plot if more Epic Quest than Avengers-esque superhero team.

And yes, it can. Mostly only because I already drew it.

Excellent. Good to know. And so, maybe we could have something of a Teen Titans type story progression. Start off just going after random villain of the week creatures, and then figure out that the creatures are all connected to one another via a central main villain. And along the way, of course, uncover valuable bits of info about each character's personality and character and whatnot.

You do know I have the basic layout of the story done right? Its just the specific stuff I've yet to lay out. They start off knowing about the Main Arch Villian, though they do not meet him till much later. If fact it is because of him that they begin thier quest, which is to kill him and stop him from destroying the multiverse.

That doesn't really help you get your story started, though, does it?

What act, or series of acts, does he commit to get the ball rolling? Maybe kills one of the protagonists' parents? Torches their home town/village? Tries to recruit them, knowing what powers they possess? Maybe the same thing that empowers the heroes, empowers a criminal and allows him to go into villainy with much more power than before?

There's got to be some impetus to set things in motion, otherwise, it's reporting, and not really telling an interesting story. It allows insight into the characters' psyches, and/or the villain's psyche.

You must think me inept or perhaps you did not read this...

Marv wrote
Basically the entire multiverse, in which this story takes place, is guided and watched over by a near god-like being who calls him self the Prophet. He originally created the multiverse to entertain himself in the endless continuum of time. However, he eventually grew bored with merely watching the multiverse and decided to interfere with its inhabitants lives. His meddling gave birth to a powerful evil. An opposite force to his will that called itself the Doomsayer. It began to feed on the lingering energies of the Prophet, growing in power and strength and gaining immunity from the prophet's direct interference.

The Prophet saw this problem and sought to act quickly by activating the forces he'd left in the multiverse to balance it. The forces were embodied by living beings and together they sought out the doomsayer and fought him. However, they underestimated the doomsayer and the doomsayer managed to kill them and absorb the power of one of them.

The Prophet, in a desperate attempt to stop the doomsayer, took the last action he had. He restarted the multiverse. Everything began anew, but somehow, the Doomsayer persisted into the new multiverse and the forces were deployed once more. Again he killed them, growing more powerful as he did so. And once again the Prophet restarted the multiverse.

And so began an endless cycle that brings us to the main story. The Doomsayer has grown more powerful and the Prophet fears this is his last cycle before the Doomsayer becomes powerful enough to wipe him out for good. This is the last chance, and he has to make it count.

From there, the story begins to focus on our heros who later will become the forces of the multiverse. They're journey soon begins as they work to oppose the Doomsayer in a final cycle of the multiverse.
The story then continue/starts as the prophet sends a cryptic and anonymous message to one of the future heroes. They do not think much of it until their planet is attacked by the unwitting agents of the Doomsayer. Namely Mr. Shade. He and his troops invade the planet in the name of the Doomsayer and kickstart the heroes into action to fight back...yada yada yada.

Think you inept? I've been supporting your capabilities from the beginning of your time here on this forum, mind you.

Good Lord, to think folks can't forget something they read weeks ago without being accused of being antagonistic. *sigh* No. I read that, but I forgot what I read, after some time passed.

And on top of that...if you have all that in order, what the heck are you looking for from us? Extra folks to add into the story? Villains? Heroes? Antiheroes? Lands to travel to? Objects to use? Because, it seems like your story is already ready to start to me.

Ready to start and end....but the middle.....it needs basically everything. Worlds, sideplots, characters, cool artifacts and such. Like I said, I have the overlying plot, but not the specifics....at least not all of them.
