Excellent. Thank you for the invitation.

If all things go according to plan, my dear Myself, I will have already arranged any necessary transcontinental transportation to accommodate your "ahem" inconvenient geographical obstructions. I fully intend to, as they say, have your back, in such a scenario. (Again, this all hinges on my winning the lottery).

Since OPM makes a power only last for a day, when you activate 1-YOTL 356 days you'll die.
But if you only have OPM, then you can't activate a ressurection power on the same day. So that wouldn't work anyway.

Wow, I hadn't considered that there are resurrection powers on the list. God, now I want to delete the power.
Hey son, wanna' learn how ta' make witch balls?

Why so? Was the point you were trying to get across that of a phenomenal, but final year? Forcing the user to choose between a long lasting legacy or a longer time on earth?
If so, could you add a con stating that resurrection was impossible for use in conjunction with this power? If not, why would you want to delete the power? I think it is a good one.

An interesting question. Does activating the power start a "stopwatch effect" that continues despite the power being cancelled? My first thought (selfishly, if I acquired the power for myself) is "no".
I like Wonder Drow's supposition - if used w/in the context of OPM, it advances itself in 24 hour increments, ergo, you could choose this power 364 times and still be alive. Choose it for the 365th time and you're dead. Unless you've acuired a contingent resurrection ability to activate at your death.

Indeed. I have always thought of it as a way for beings such as our NB selves to allow ourselves to die in order to make use of a reincarnation power.

I must say, this is a very interesting conundrum.

Even if I did I'm sure there are still dozens of ways to get around the dying aspect. As such, it's just one more overpowered ability in the pile. A redundant one too, because there are already powers that make you super awesome.
I'll leave it as is as testament to my own stupidity.

I think you're a bit too hard on yourself, bud. I liked it. It feels more like a "real world" compatible power (if you'll forgive the oxymoron) than, like 99% of the others on the site. I was actually cogitating on scenarios where that might be a good option.
Just off the top of my head, suppose you were dying of stage 5 cancer of some sort and the doctor gave you 1 month to live. This would be a Godsend I'd use "creativity" instead of "stupidity" to describe the force behind your submission. I like the whole "power that comes at a price" shtick. Just my $0.02.

I am completely unfamiliar with the top panel of choices, so I'll bow out of that survey.
As for the Batman villains, I would say either Ra's al Ghul or the Joker. They seem to be able to see the big picture as a whole and can manipulate people like chess pieces

Don't worry, it + other powers in not nearly as imbalanced as some others. I was stupid and made Power Sacrifice without stating that you actually needed to own the power in the first place; one could simply use it in combination with The Superpower List*.

It could go way worse. At least you didn't do something like Perfect Immortality.
The current version may be fine, but the original...hoo boy.

As to the question of which starter evolution, I pick Sceptile. I like his Dragon Claw, and his Leaf Blade. Especially since I like to make them fight a lot, to level up more.
And yes. ALL the Batman villains. I love his superpowered ones. And I sort of wish they'd give some other villains a chance besides the Joker. I mean, sure, him, but also let Harley Quinn show up; a BETTER incarnation of Poison Ivy than that stupid one in the 90's movie; a more strategical, WAY less pun-prone-and-Austrian-sounding Mr. Freeze than Arnold Schwarzenegger's 90's version; a far more cool and charismatic Riddler than the 90's version; a cooler, more kick-butt Catwoman. Solomon Grundy. And I would probably have a heart attack of pure bliss, if we ever got to see Clayface on the big screen. I mean, please nobody hate me for this, but I like a good mix of 'realistic' villains and outlandish ones. To act like we go only with non-powered villains seems sort of elitist, if you ask me.

Indeed. It is seldom spoke of.
It is amazing that the creator thought it was perfectly balanced.
