Elemental Planes Role Play Part 2

[Philote]

"We only have one planet I'm afraid and next to nothing is known about the Elemental planes. If a solution is to be found, it would have to be discovered on the other side."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

My face changed from fear to accepting determination.

"Fine, then. I await whatever challenge we'll face. However I can help, I'll help."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"You have my rock......" I raise my fist and realise I'm getting weird looks.


"Sorry, I thought we were doing a Lord of the Rings reference there...."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Hehe...okay, yeah."

[Philote]

"I'm glad you're willing to fight, though I'm afraid you would of had little choice. All of humanity is having to fight simply to slow our destruction."

As the commander speaks the Taros unit exits the back of the helicopter and moves to where the group is sitting. "It seems the data has been transferred finally. The more we can learn about the elemental planes the better a chance we have."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Then let's get to skull cracking!"

[Philote]

"Let me tell you the plan for when we get to the drop off zone."

"We will be dropped off at the roof of an abandoned building. The ground level is swarming with elementals, if you fall down that far you're done for. We will be heading down from the roof to the seventh floor of the building. From there we will be moving across the storm line to the other side of the building and whatever the Colossus has waiting on the other side."

[FrozenDarkFlame]

What are we going to do for a plan, or all at once?

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Sounds like a good plan. When are we landing?"

[Philote]

"Once we are dropped off we will have to rush down the path I described to get past the storm wall. After we are inside, we will have to do anything we can to kill the Colossus."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"And we will. No matter what it takes. We are going to stop this colossus."

[Philote]

"Good, Then jump" Commander Lote said as he pointed out the hovering helicopter to the roof of a tall building below.

"I'll be right behind you."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

I jump enthusiastically from the helicopter, landing solidly on the roof below. I rise in a suitably cool fashion.

[Philote]

Commander Lote jumps from the helicopter after Marv, a green light shining from his hand to the roof below. The light turns to stone and the Commander lands on the pillar of stone he had created before jumped the rest of the distance down to the roof.

He points to the roof access door of the building and yells to Marv "Break open that door soldier, we don't have time to waste."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"My pleasure..." Stones burst forth to pummel the door into submission, tearing it from it's hinges in the process.

[Philote]

The commander takes one last look over the edge of the building and at the swarming elementals below before waving the group through the door and down into the halls.

"Keep focused, We don't know how many elementals may be hiding in the halls."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"I can sense some energies..." I start, "But...they're all mixed together. I can't really make out distinct individuals..."

[Philote]

"There are so many, I wouldn't expect you to be able to pick a specific one out" The Commander replied.

He points at Marv and Wulf "You two take the front, we are going to sprint down this passage to the stairs. Take out anything that may be hiding in the rooms."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"It's what I live for.....RAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" I scream as I charge into the hall, graveyard soil gathering about my feet and spreading across the floor. The walls shred themselves as I pull any bit of stone from them I can.

[Philote]

A half-animal/half-dust elemental gets wrapped up in the Graveyard Soil as it exits into the hall and the Commander finishes it off with a green beam to its skull, which turns into a stone spike on contact.

The group all rush down the hall, not breaking stride as they exterminated the elementals that rushed after them.

"Just one more floor and we will be to the opening in the Storm Wall" The Commander yells over the chaos "Don't stop now!"
