You know he always overreacts.

Somehow any imposition of rules, or trying to keep folks from doing rash, irresponsible things is somehow tyrannjical or oppressive.

Unsurprisingly, that kind of thinking reminds me of EverblaDE.

Its just silly.

You're the one who says you hate it when friends fight, but here you are purposfully trying to pit two people against each other. Even if its only in an RP, you know that kind of thing will carry over.

the 3.5 I have planned all end with the planet as either a flaming ball of death, or a new asteroid belt, while still playing entirely inside of the rules.

Calm down and quit threatening the apocalypse, its those kind of threats that get you the negative attention you hate. Ruining the RP for everybody is not the appropriate response.

Try talking out your issues before resorting to "violence".

Yes. Yes, it is.

I personally think it's the greater percent of why we get into arguments with him.

It's not like Mina will be harmed.

No one can enter her land unless she wants them to (or their mortals)

No divine artifacts can enter it.

No divine actions (Other than her own and her gods) may be used in it.

She can easily escape to a plane with her people if needed, due to her teleporting shadow minions.

She has tons of mythical beings to throw at any invading mortal armies, as well as her own divine oomph.


I'm just irked that she is, for all intents and purposes, impossible to threaten. How am I supposed to present an enemy threat to someone who can just relax at home, untouchable, until they leave?

Yeah. If you're headed for global subversion of the masses, work toward it like every other deity.

I mean look at Phi and Dryad. They're just quietly amassing forces. THAT'S a way to make people respect and fear you. Otherwise, your threats seem sorta...unnecessary.

It's not really ruining.

If Jester tries to do something that would determinately effect the world, then it would stir up alot of action- a lot of posts. People would get interested and the entire thing would shoot foward.

If he fails, then we have another myth to add to the collection that most people know (For example, they still tell stories about the little divine scuffle we had before).

If he succeeds, then we have an entire new direction to move the story in- Making sure our people survive the disaster, and slowly fixing the world back to the way it used to be.

'Cause right now, there's very little... Myth-Worthy things going on. Besides the tournament.

Destroying the world will not help the RP. People will be pissed if they have to start over frm scratch.

Eh. If only people could separate their emotions out of the roleplay and their emotions in the roleplay.. what an amazing thing!

I think I've done a pretty good job of that considering I haven't really attacked anyone yet.

They won't have to start over.

They'd have to scramble to try and save their lands and people,  then work together to contain and reverse whatever disaster had occurred.

It would make for an interesting story arc, at least. Perhaps it'd be a bit of a genre skip..
