I have odd images of a mini-sun hovering around a crystal castle on a huge shining hill, with lakes filled with stone tablets on shelves. Watery beings dart among them, organizing things. Priests wander between living forests made of nature spirits, weapon compactions beside them..

Id' say your people are pretty much given adequate self-defenses. They could make hell for anything that attacked them.

Your personal defenses seem good also, with attack options as well as the possibility of escape with the chaos portal, as well as the chain to temporarily disable someone long enough to flee..

That sounds too dangerous. I vote not allowing it. It's asking for unneeded trouble and he'd make all the gods with races mad at him to the point of ganging up on him especially if they treasure their races like Mina.
