Yeah, but the main difference is that the Paragon is not a sapient god, it's a divine energy golem-construct thing.
So it has no domains. Or motes. Or actions.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

I'm guessing you mean no actions as in it doesn't act like the rest of us and only does the council's buisness.
And maybe it could only interact with us, meaning it wouldn't deal with spirits from different planets. I think it might be interesting for it to have a domain (Laws or something). I wanted the winner of the tournament to be able to add one of their domains to it as well, I think that would make for some interesting story later for how it acts, but I can edit that out.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I assumed that it would be the Big Nasty Thing you set on anyone who broke the rules.
As such, I thought it would not need much in the way of brains.

Probably not, but I thought that the domain would affect the way it carried out the rules. Would be more interesting if it had a certain style to it.

Then make some new rule, I'll be watching to see how it comes out.

To show the exact abilities of the new thing.

Hey everybody. Posting this from my brothers new 3DS. Been reading (not so easy on this thing, letters are small) about this new Ubergod we're thinking of creating and think I have something in mind for how it acts.
We create this golem like being of immense power, and then no one gets to control it. Instead, all of the Overgods swear a compact between them and all of their followers to abide by any law set down by the council of Overgods. If any God breaks one of the laws, then the Paragon goes to squish them automatically, with a singular purpose, no one telling it what to do, just following it's programming. Once established, this programming cannot be changed. This keeps anyone from abusing the power of such a being, ensures that it can never be used on mortals, and doesn't interfere with the otherworldly invasion arc we have planned. After all, the other worlds gods never swore any compact, so it has no reason to go after them.
Hey son, wanna' learn how ta' make witch balls?

Like a police officer.
Not there for any minor or petty offenses, but if some deity goes slapping folks into the afterlife without reason, or attempting on the lives of other deities, and here come Mr. Big Bad. Sounds good to me.

uiYou know what I find really funny, How things are always decided concerning what I can and can't do when I'm not on.
I mean it's hillarious right, being forced to follow arbitrary rules that were decided without having a chance to defend yourself Well you know what, how about this, I'll do my thing and work inside the rules not give a flying darn about what others think in terms of fairness, and if anyone opposes it tthey can face me inside of the game, and get killed in the most bizzare twisted way imagginable. Sound good!? |

Hey, I was going to give it to you.
Dryad's the one who objected.. I prefer to let you get things like this, rather than telling you no, then you taking it as a challenge/deciding to do something worse. I look forward to the apocalypse.

You don't think that's overreacting a bit? Calm down and just talk things over with Dryad.

I no longer state my ideas , I've learned that lesson.
You will only learn of the apocalypse if I happen to get pissed off enough. |

Exactly, if he can still defend his point of view then there's no reason to get upset.

You know he always overreacts.
Somehow any imposition of rules, or trying to keep folks from doing rash, irresponsible things is somehow tyrannjical or oppressive. Unsurprisingly, that kind of thinking reminds me of EverblaDE.

Then how do you expect to.. Very well then. Aim for Mina if you go nuclear. I want to see how her invulnerable fortress holds up.
