Figured as such. It's kinda like a way better version of the PokeDex used specifically for magical creatures/beings, right?

I like the idea. Very nice.

Nope it's a freaking dusty old book that suddenly fell out of the sky in a flash of light landing on the desk of an old wizards study a few hundred years back that containes in it an ever changing record of every creature in existence. The homunculi have transfered a majority of it's contents into PDA like devices.

I'm thinking of editing the origin of the tooth fairy to the Hell boy version....it would seem to stick more with this version

..................................................DON"T ADD JUST PICTURES DARN IT, THERE ARE NO DISCRIPTIONS WHATSOEVER, it's not an art galler, by the way before writing or editing a description, origin story, etc. Post it hear for review.

You don't have to freakin' Tim-Burton everything up...some things are actually okay not being creepy or evil or really intense.

You do realize that I am the main one adding ANYTHING to the site, right? And besides, when I do their appearances, I want to be able to actually find a pic to match my descriptions, noth just describe it. Otherwise, if I can't find one that matches what I think is a good description, the page will have to go without a pic (otherwise the pic and appearance sections don't match).

So I find pics first.

When every pages has at least one picture THEN I'll concern myself with descriptions. Until then, I'll concentrate on what they look like so I can better imagine their mannerisms when time to describe them finally comes.

They aren't evil....they use to be chaotic nuetral but after the treaty was made they decided to form a tooth racket where they exchanged human teeth for currency or presents. After a while they unionised incorprated some laws and due to the unstable genetic make up of the fae their new "Lawful" disposition caused a shift in physical character as well, ending up with the tooth fairy we have today....I mean come on what other purpose could faeries have for collecting unholy amounts of teeth.

Whatever, I have no interest in the details, and I'm not particularly fond of turning them into something other than what the original one was. If you can come up with a good reason for why they take teeth, and if you think there needs to be a reason understood by us, then honestly, be my guest.

Whatever descriptions you think will fit, go for it. Just please don't embellish them too far beyond the original lore...

.....darn it I'm going to have to go back into the insanity to pull the rest of this explanation out.

Originally the tooth fairy race was a sub species of Pixie that lived in the highlands of scotland this particular race had deveoled an intersting bodiy structure in which most of their form was in fact composed of calcium deposits located in various centers around th e body which created a natural underskeleton which greatly added to their physical durability, unfortunately due to this they also required a large amount of calcium to function. Originally they were able to aquire the needed calcium by mining it form the earth, however fortunately for them they soon discovered an easy and plentiful form of calcium in the form of teeth and bones that could easily be harvested from animals. Due to finding this new food source they were able to advance as a species following the same concept of farming for humans, however due to this even thought thyey had in fact advanced as a society while indeed becoming less vulgar than their ancestors they were becoming seen as a savage tribe by the other fay races. Later they learned that human teeth and bones scarried within them a natural magical energy which further rejuvinated them, for more info on human magical energy see wizards section.

Eventually a faction of the Tooth faeries who beleaved that hunting animals, and sometimes humans for their teeth and bones was barbaric broke off from the rest of the race and began a bartering system with the humans in exchange for magical items and monitary currency. Soon the faction began to thrive as the others were hunted into near extinction once the humans began to learn of their existence. Eventually the Faction become the forefrunt of the race while the original faded into obscurity. Eventually as per their new lawful bartering syste the alignment of the tooth faery changed from chaotic Neutral to a form of lawful good, which also lead to a change in behavior and physcial attributes as per the magical aura energy affect.

when the treaty between humans and Mythos was contracted to toothfaeries once again began to fade into obscurity until they found a loophole in the form of becoming a myth, however now that the security of homes has reached an all time high with their iron content, and the general gullability of children has reached an all time low they now run a market on Calcium focused mainly in the form of magically generated calcium pills and tablets, which are often sold worldwide as supplements.

Honestly I have no idea what the original lore was other than a fairy that snuck into your house at night and took your teeth leaving behind a shiny new pence.

There was nothing other than that. Meaning, PLEASE don't go too far beyond that. It's not really necessary to explain their history much beyond maybe the stuff you explain in the post above.

Shortened, of course.

Re: Warriors of Myth

that is the shortened version, I skipped a war with the gnomes, and the actual establishment of the troll market, they were actual a big help believe it or not.

Okay, never mind. Just stick with the other one. Taking people's teeth and leaving a pence. I don't need to Hollywood-ify it. We'll just go with good-old-fashioned legends and lore.

Re: Warriors of Myth

.....you seriously didn't think that humans were the only species that ever fought over resources and territory right, it wa sthis entire thing about how the toothfairy mines were beginning to encroach upon gnome territory, luckly they didn't extend to the mountains or otherwise the Dwarves would have joined in.
