An suggestions or a map I can base the brownie city off of, if not I'll just make it from scratch and scan it into the computer.

I just gave you a suggestion. Devon or Cheshire, or Winchester, or Rochester, or Wilshire, or somewhere like that. And I suggest you just find a map online and use Picnik or Paint to edit them denoting Brownie territory.

.....I'm going to make this into more of a game and I need help.
I need someone who's good at designing mythical cities to help me with the design of the brownie citadel, it shallneed a castle, a bazzare, a park, a training center, etc. I"m going to need someone to help me ad stats and whatnot for each of the monsters that we've fought or made up so far and add them to the wiki. I'm also going to need somewhat concrete details on each character, and somehow find someone who's willing to control several monsters at once if neccesary and I'm not here. Who's willing to help, I want to get this thing mobing by the end of the week. I've actually got some free time for once.

What kind of stats are you thinking of, also how would the stats be effected once we gain access to more than one mythical creature.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
stats would change due to averages and newly acquired knowledge of creature abilities.....as in as of yet the Yetti knowledge stat has apparently increased ten fold in the past few years after the discovery of their tribe in Shangrola.....mainly I just need them because of wulf's djin stat copying ability.

i'll try thinking of a stat system, see what i come up with, idk about map though someone else might have to do that.

we can probably just create a general one at first such as fae races, high skill, speed, magic. Draconic well rounded high. Djinn high magic, speed and knowledge, strength maybe not sure. Yetti high intelligence, speed, and obscurity= ability to hide in plain sight, use mystical abilities etc. I'll come up with it later
Difference between intelligence and knowledge is the difference between wit and fast paced thinking vs. a dictionary like knowledge of things.

Awesome!
I've been wanting to do something like this for a while. So.. For stats, we should establish which ones we will use, and also a baseline (I.E The human norms) for those. So far.. Strength Speed Skill Magical Ability Intelligence Knowledge Might I suggest you elaborate on some of these, and also add something like Durability..
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

adaptability, endurance too.

So. Are these mostly correct?
Strength represents raw physical poweress. How much you can carry, how hard you can hit or how many chainsaws you can juggle. Speed is essentially both the top speed and acceleration your body can go without assistance. How fast you run, how many times you can hit someone or how quickly you can dodge a laser guided pie. Skill represents learned ability of any kind. How good you are at doing something be it swordplay, using a computer or magical training. Magical Aptitude is both an ability to use magic as well as raw power. Any being capable of using magic has some degree of Magical Aptitude. Endurance represents an ability to take and withstand damage without suffering lethal injuries. Beings such as trolls have a high degree of this. Intelligence is raw thought speed and cognitive ability. It's how fast and how thoroughly a being can think. Knowledge represents the amount of information a being knows, whether learned or instinctive. Dragons tend to be very knowledgeable. Adaptability is a being's ability to react to sudden changes in an environment or sudden realizations. Humans (For a good baseline) Strength (1-3) One being a very weak human, three being a very strong one. Humans are generally not know for exceptional strength. By contrast, a creature like a Hill Giant would be a ten or higher. Speed (2-4) Two being slow for a human and four being like an Olympic Sprinter. Humans are faster than they are strong, but not by much. Skill (1-9) One being someone completely uneducated and nine being someone who has graduated from several different colleges. Humans are very skilled, especially in more modern times. Magical Ability (0-1) Zero being normal, and one being exceptional. Most humans have very little magical ability. If any. Intelligence (5-8) Five being a less than intelligent person, and eight being someone like Einstein. Humans make up for many of their flaws with sheer intellect. Very few races can be more inventive when under pressure. Knowledge (1-4) One being a very ignorant person, and four being someone with exceptional memory. Humans can range from being totally naive to being surprisingly knowledgeable. Adaptability (6-10) Six being someone who reacts slowly to surprise and ten being someone who's already preparing for it as it happens. Humans display amazing adaptability. They can find someway to survive under even extreme conditions. Endurance (1-3) One being someone who would cry from a scratch and three being someone who shrugs off a broken arm. Humans aren't exactly indestructible. By any means.

I was thinking that endurance would be more around how long they owuld be able to do something instead of their durability.
you forgot to take into account the extremes of the human race.....like hercules, merlin, etc, but other than that correct....technically humans are the ultimat 0-10 creature........like take our characters for example.

Those are just like an average.
People who go outside of them will exist.

Strength represents raw physical poweress. How much you can carry, how hard you can hit or how many chainsaws you can juggle. Yep except chain saw juggling would involve agility and skill, agility being ability to do complex tasks and change direction. Speed is essentially both the top speed and acceleration your body can go without assistance. How fast you run, how many times you can hit someone or how quickly you can dodge a laser guided pie. Bingo Skill represents learned ability of any kind. How good you are at doing something be it swordplay, using a computer or magical training. Bingo, also can play into how fast you can learn something. Magical Aptitude is both an ability to use magic as well as raw power. Any being capable of using magic has some degree of Magical Aptitude. Bingo Endurance represents an ability to take and withstand damage without suffering lethal injuries. Beings such as trolls have a high degree of this. That's Durability, endurance would be how long you would be able to attack run et cetera. Intelligence is raw thought speed and cognitive ability. It's how fast and how thoroughly a being can think. Bingo, as in faery creatures like brownies and pixies are usually around a ten in this but a one in knowledge Knowledge represents the amount of information a being knows, whether learned or instinctive. Dragons tend to be very knowledgeable. You are correct sir Adaptability is a being's ability to react to sudden changes in an environment or sudden realizations. Good Humans (For a good baseline) Strength (1-3) One being a very weak human, three being a very strong one. Humans are generally not know for exceptional strength. By contrast, a creature like a Hill Giant would be a ten or higher. nice, except maybe four considering average humans world wide....ever seen the Irish competetions like the pole toss or the boulder cath? Speed (2-4) Two being slow for a human and four being like an Olympic Sprinter. Humans are faster than they are strong, but not by much. Good Skill (1-9) One being someone completely uneducated and nine being someone who has graduated from several different colleges. Humans are very skilled, especially in more modern times. some ten but yeah Magical Ability (0-1) Zero being normal, and one being exceptional. Most humans have very little magical ability. If any. ........technically humans are kind of up their in the magical ability compared to other creatures but it's just latent. given proper training it could go up to at least a three or four. at most and this is merlin level nine or ten. 1-5 at least. Adaptability (6-10) Six being someone who reacts slowly to surprise and ten being someone who's already preparing for it as it happens. Humans display amazing adaptability. They can find someway to survive under even extreme conditions. Durability (1-3) One being someone who would cry from a scratch and three being someone who shrugs off a broken arm. Humans aren't exactly indestructible. By any means. ..................does this account for the insane people who can shrug off a decapitation for a few seconds? Oo Endurance 1- 6. ONe being someone whose winded climbing up stairs six being the cross country runners who can run for three days take a five minute nap and keep running.

Well, for Magical Aptitude, that depends if wizards/witches/etc.. are just humans who have learned how to use magic or actual subspecies of humanity.

does this take into acount natural magics A.K.A Telikinesis/psyonics....or is that a different class all it's own? it would also include skills like hypnosis mind reading etcetra such as those often exhibited by the vampires or the syrens.

Well, I view them as different things to a degree.
Psionics at least trys to work within the physical laws of the universe. Magic flat out ignores them.

agreed.....in most cases.
Okay looks like a good set up so far I suppose.................troll market. After all I"m not sure we're actually getting paid for any of this. maybe we can actually set up an item system or what not, or at least a first aid kit.

Item systems?
Well, that depends on what the items are I suppose. If you have some form of market that supplies magical oddities and equipment.. I'm sure plenty of people wouldn't mind buying some useful things.
