also would be a nice hub for information. although on second thought we already have a guy with access to a dragon's hord and a djinn prince, both of whom at this point probably both have more money than ........at least one of them knows what to do with.

Oh, Dajai is only rich on par with the world's richest billionaire without Djinn Zetsuei's royal resources. And most of the money goes toward magical items, so he might as well just be upper middle class.
And as for this whole stats and such, it's a good idea. I've been trying to re-imagine my rules for the Pokemon RP as well. Mine will be more story than game, so this one being more game-like, and New Beginning being more random is a good balance.

....by the way you can probably find a pokemon game online that could simulate the battles with cut and paste pictures or whatnot.

The Leprechaun.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

No the leprechaun aren't really that rich, their gold is the magical source of their power so they don't really amass it. All they want is some tripple X clover whisky and they're happy.

You're thinking of the Clurichauns. Leprechauns are rich out the wazoo. Which is why the Dwarves mine GEMS, not gold. That's the Leprechauns monopoly.
Any gold they come across goes to the Leprechauns.

And as for this, the two are likely pretty close.

no those are jsut drunk Leprechauns. Also Leprechauns aren't rich, but they can materialize whatever they want with their gold, which makes it appear that way. the more gold the leprechaun has the more powerful, which is why they continue to collect it.

Clurichauns are not just drunk Leprechauns. They're fairies related to the Leprechauns.
And if gold is a universal currency, and they have the monopoly on it, their upper-class is the freakin' richest alive. Even if they don't have the most, their ability to materialize anything with it means they can buy whatever they want magically.

......Also you forgot to remember that leprechauns are as stingy as heck.
"Sir you mother is dying of terminal cancer! We need money for the operation!" "Go away!" "Come on one half of a gold piece is enough to save her life?" "You'll never get an atom of my gold, GO AWAY!!!!!!!" What did you think that lucky was the only one who had this mentality? He get's his powers from marshmallows, but all of the other ones get their power from gold.

That's not the question you asked. You asked who was richer. Leprechauns are still richer, even if they wouldn't spend any of it to save their lives.

........................actually leprechauns only have finite amounts of gold due to only a certin amount being able to be stored in their pots, otherwise they would be killing each other, to take the other's gold. So the most rich species would technically be the dragons simply due to thousands upon thousands of years of mining and hording. Then again the richest would be those that are capable of actually materializing matter in order to produce currency, so technically any of the fae world work technically in the non magical market. The troll market still works on mostly a barter system, although they will trade for human money simply so they can react with the cities.

You're dragon biased though. :P

Aren't we careening off the beaten track of our original topic?

not really this can all be added into the monster's compendium as well as another fact category entitled wealth that can go under special attributes which can change for each creature.

Um, djinni are naturally born into rich families, being capable of taking possession of human and humanoid bodies...
