Nope, I mean the Hindu creepies addicted to rose petals...
Just kidding, lol... Yes, the Lotus Eaters are some of my favorite non-deformed humanoids I read about in the Odyssey as a boy. The freaking best vegans ever. Here's the link: http://warriorsofmyth.wikia.com/wiki/Lotus-Eater

..........I'd prefer to keep it a monster comendium, technically thelotus eaters are about as much of a myth as the Hippies....
Ten hundred years later. "Today class we will be discussing the aspect of the leaf eaters, from the legends of the twelfth dinasty of the lost continent Americas told of in the legends of our country. It is said that they were a race of majestic tree dwellers which would last for days on a simple leaf whose name has been long forgotten in the annals of history, however it was said that after they had spent several day's in a ritualistic tribal drum circle they would leave in a ravinus hunger the term of which was reffered to as the munchies. Meanwhile they would apparently preach of a word of peace to lure young citizens into their culture. Read pages one through eighty of your homework tonight, and tommorow we will be discussing the mythical warrior tribe of "The Rednecks."

What are you talking about? Just because they aren't outwardly deformed, doesn't remove them from their place as mythological beings. You weren't there at the start of the wiki, so it's too late NOW to try to say it's strictly for monsters.
And besides, fairies and angels aren't monsters. They're CREATURES. Big diff.

I use monsters as a general term for all non humans. If your going to add them as a tribe however were going to have to add another category, unless you already have "Human Tribes" as a category.

ugh, no not being outwardly deforemed does not take them out of their place, but my point was that they were normal humans under the influence of a mythical plant. So if anything they should be a subspace under the Lotus itself.

They technically aren't just normal humans. More likely what Marvel would call mutates. They start out normal, and they GAIN powers through a certain treatment (i.e. ingesting the lotus).
And no, we're not adding Mutates as a category.

speaking of which we're going to stay away from japanese folklore for a bit, a few of them are jsut plain messed up, not saying that ours are any better but I'll give you an example....Imagine a cyclops....except the eye is somewhere else....somewhere unspeakable.

I know what you're talking about. But it's no worse than a rapist night demon (Incubus) or a bovine with combustible farts/poop (Bonnacon).

They aren't mutants, that's just the equivalent of second hand smoke, the fumes from the lotus being digested run back up the asophagus plaiging there breath with it while retaining an admitably less powerful form of their affects.

I didn't say they were mutants, I said they were mutates. Changed into something psychologically and physiologically superhuman, for as long as they ingest the plant. Did you even read the page?
