Science.

Thank you Zale.

I especially like the last line of the story.

I found a website about "Real Vampires".

Then I googled the website and found another Website saying..

There's a small group of people 'waking up' to the possibility that they're 'real' vampires - they distinguish themselves from a huge online community of fake, poseur, wannabe vampires...

My theory is that these people are most likely what we here would call human-reptilian hybrids or bloodline type of people with stronger reptilian traits. If they were on this forum, they'd call themselves reptilians or hybrids... but instead, they call themselves vampires.
Am I a bad person for finding this utterly hilarious?

Mmkay. So just indulge me here, folks.

I am officially ticked off at the people who portray crazy Christians in the movies, as well as the people who design those characters. I mean, normally, it would be something I just look at in passing, but really? Can there never be a sensible Christian in the midst to tell the crazy guy/gal/whatever to shut the heck up? Why must the clergy be the only decent Christians in movies, and all others a bunch of lunatics? And lots of times, even the clergy are either holy-roly Jesus freaks or freakin' drinking, cursing hypocrites.

Ugh...good God, that crap really bothers me. I mean it. If I ever get the opportunity to make a movie (you guys know me, I loves me some horror), then any crazy Christians that come up will immediately be punched the heck out by the decent Christian in the room. He might not be the main hero, but he'll dang sure be a force for good, not a freakin' antagonist.

(And, of course, any atheists, agnostics, Jews, Muslims, etc, are also welcome to the role, or to share in on it jointly, as my mood strikes me...)

Mmkay. Rant over.

Oh, and just so you know what got me in the mood to discuss this sort of thing...just watch The Mist. The movie itself is decent, but dang, that LADY. She makes me wanna...GAH!

Okay. Really. I'm done now.

Superhuman/Supernatural/Paranormal Rants (or Props) (Continued)

Randomly stumbled upon this image so I decided to look it up. Apparently Alexandria's Genesis is some fictional superhuman mutation (With some variations having ridiculously beneficial mutations). All the version's that I saw had the same common link of the eye color and positive benefits.

The apparent back story is:

Phi wrote
The legend behind this genetic variation is that, thousand of years ago in Egypt, a mysterious light flashed over the sky, and the people in the village under which this light flashed all developed the pale white skin and purple eyes, and they were called "spirit people" because of their appearance. These mysterious people eventually moved north and disappeared.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Interesting thought: Cyborgs with large amounts of artificial parts would be more vulnerable to toxins and poisions than a normal human on account of having less biological components to soak it up.

Full body cyborgs (Brains in jars) could be killed by a cup of beer, in theory.

Smokeless fire? Like that which was used to create the Djinni?

It's strange what ideas take you, late at night, sitting in your chair all alone in your house, window open.

Ideas like "If I made a bunch of characters based on the Goosebumps books, in order from Welcome to Dead House onward, would anyone catch on?"

I'm just going to intentionally scuttle that idea right now, in case a fully rested Vault finds it palpable in the morning.

Guy's, it's not the glass that burns.  They are burning gas. It's some kind of tempered glass that's dispercing the gass.
But it sure looks cool.

Just kidding, I'm fairly sure most on this forum have an IQ above 100.
But having a brain doesn't mean you can't be tricked by some of the crap on the internets.
