 Calling any creature's true name can be most effective, with the right mental and/or spiritual power.

That's where folks get the idea of concealing their 'true names', for fear of falling prey to witches.

You know, in the New World of Darkness, there's a new splat called Demon: The Descent.

The demons in it draw from spy-thriller tropes.

As well as mechanical designs, since the God-Machine they defect from is.. uh.. mechanical.
