Fan Theory about Ed, Edd n Eddy.



The Theory is a story about how all the characters from Ed, Edd n Eddy came to arrive in the cul-de-sac. It takes the approach that all of the characters came from different time periods and settled within the cul-de-sac, respective to their time. And while living there, each one suffers a gruesome death which takes them to the cul-de-sac we know in the show, which can be determined as some sort of purgatory, unable to accept their untimely demises.
Sad, yet fascinating.

I hate Films of the Book that don't follow the Book accurately enough.

Percy Jackson Movie.

It's awful.

The Harry Potter movies may have cut minor things, but they still kept the overall plot and flow.

The Percy Jackson movie presented a butchered, twisted version.

As a stand-alone thing, it would have been pretty much fine.

But it's still a pale imitation of the book.

There's no way in hell they'll be able to continue.

I think it's going to continue like this, where good things are tried to be turned into movies, and ruined so badly that they'll never get anything good from it.

Avatar: The Last Airbender, and now this.

Eragon turned out the same; it changed so many things there is no way that it could have a sequel. They ruined literally all the other books in the Inheritance Cycle.

It's a good movie, but a terrible translation.

 Technically, it should go in the supernatural rants thread, since the movie was only 10-20% accurate about Greek myth. Or, at least the Mythology thread. Certainly not Literary Awesomeness, since you're referring to the movie, not the book.

But, whatever, wherever you want to put it, put it. Right now, I have a headache about the size of a baseball lodging itself into my brain like a cat onto a cat bed, so I really could see a rant about hating God, liberal Democrats AND black people, and would not care right now.

And on a totally unrelated note, it was nice to have Savior over today.
