You could always ask nicely, close your eyes and count to ten before opening them.
Something may happen.

Oh, dang.
Well, yeah, until Alex comes across his affinity for magic, way later on, Rei's our only hope.

I might learn some spell like abilities, depending on what Zale throws at us. Some sort of old scrolls from the museum, the other mummies waking up and coming after Ammon for stealing the Pharaohs organs, Anubis wondering what's going on, training arc. It could all happen. In the end I might remain a simple ancient Egyptian terminator, or I might get all Imhotep.

Yeah, but your basically perfect.
Seriously, your character is like mine in combat except better in pretty much every way. As for your mid-season power-up, you could always have a Rabbi re-bless you. Have holy words carved into you that lets you call upon the power of angels. Have Yahweh engrave across your knuckles so that it's left embedded in dudes you punch.

Even then Rei's not that powerful in comparison to the strongest Kitsune, who could bend time and space, create and control fire, create illusions, shapeshift, fly, become invisible, and were omniscient. Those ones were virtually gods... Actually, they WERE gods...

Hello all I have an idea for a RP. Well the basic plot point is that the characters are stuck within two different realities that are slowly shifting to merge and as they sleep they wake up in the other reality. So far I'm trying to make it more fantasy based however I don't know in what ways I should make the two realities different. I'm totally up for suggestions.

One is wasteland with a few desolate walled cities dotting the barren landscape. Monstrous creatures walk the outskirts of the walls, trying constantly to get in. People hide in the shadows of the buildings..
But.. Things are not as they seem. The other world is a paradise of huge glowing trees. The people there flit from place to place on wings of silver. Tranquility and peace reign supreme! But.. The forest floor is a place none go to. A place forbidden. Things are not as they seem.

Interesting worlds Zale.
How would characters work? Like, we each chose one of the worlds for our origin and then create an additional body for them to take over in the other world when they sleep? I'm guessing we would all cross between worlds at the same time or things would get weird.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I like the idea. Duality is always good.
But might I add a certain switch-up between a common motif? What if the paradise-type land was situated in the underground of that world, and the dark, desolate one was set up high in tall spires and towers and stilted buildings? (Also, I totally need to get back to planning the reboot of Card Game and Prison Realms...)

My friend one told me of a land that came to him in a dream, where all the wold was a scorched desert bathed in blinding light that mutated and destroyed all it touched. The only safe places were the cities, bathed in the darkness and protected by their "Moons", great white spheres that hung over them and emanated the nurturing dark.

Well the idea is that both bodies would have identities. I assume at first the characters will connect to their other worldly counter part and the origin world would be where your character starts of course. Though as you progress I assume that the other identity's memories will start coming to the character and in the middle area some characters will question what is or isn't real. I should note however there is a possibility of your character dieing however since your character has two bodies they have to die twice. The beginning of the end would be when the worlds have merged.

Oh, dear.
Sounds interesting, but slightly disturbing, too...

Okay so I've been trying to come up with abilities for the dreamers and this is
Gemini Dreamer: Dreamers that don't have an alternate reality version of themselves. They connect to one other Gemini dreamer in the other reality while they sleep. And their partner connects to them when they sleep. Neither one of the Gemini dreamers are awake at the same time. what I came up with so far. Day Dreamer: Dreamers that connect to their alternate selves while spacing out. This allows these dreamers to multi task between worlds. However the daydreamer can be inerrupted while trying to focus so they can easily be put into danger pretty quickly if they aren't careful. While day dreaming, the Dreaming body is in a vulnerable state. Dream surge: the ability to temporarily merge with your alternate self and gain power to overcome the current obstacle the character is in. It's a pretty simple power, but it not only drains the user it also gives them a lot of attention and their weak point that can be bad Any other dreamer abilities would be cool if you guys can think of them.

Just wondering if someone help me with creating more dream abilities if for the three type of dreamers as the progress with their dreaming. I do have planned bonuses for each dreamer once they stayed alive once both worlds merge. So any help would really be great.

Dream Surge shouldn't be an exclusive ability I think, more like something any dreamer could do under the right circumstances.
It seems like we have two types of dreamers: Dual and Solo Conscious ones. Solo Conscious ones have one mind that operates two bodies while Dual ones have two minds that alternate bodies. Then you can have different variations of how they achieve one of these two types.

Hmm. Interesting idea. I'll see what I can do with it. Thanks phi.
