There's also Pookas and Korrigans.
I like Korrigans.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Two types of Korrigans, even.
The squat little goblinoid dwarf-like Korrigans (which are apparently VERY well-known and VERY popular, because I can find pics of them, like I can find pics of GOBLINS). And the pretty nymph-like Korrigans (which are incredibly hard to come across; they're more water spirits, and are known to despise Christianity, and presumably Christians)

They're shapeshifters.
It's easily possible that the two are one and the same. Or, hell, gender dimorphism. With the fey, there's no tellin'.

I hypothesized that as well...

Should I wait for Phi before I do anything else with my golem?

I went on a trip with family because of the holiday this weekend, so posting will be limited till Monday night.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

so should I carry on posting myself?

I've made a post for tonight, but yeah post as much as you like until I'm able to return to normal posting.
We could pop out of the sewers at a location near the others.

Done and done, the noise my golem makes should be sufficient to attract the others' attention......maybe.

Vault, why did you choose that reaction towards my character?
If you're worried about being petrified, I said that I was going to have it not work on Mythos.

Although my character is stronger than humans, he is still probably weaker than all the other characters in the group, except maybe Dryad's, depending if her character has magically enhanced strength or not.

I would think that the mummy Ammon is about the same strength level of the Golem...
If you are weaker physically than us, it can't be by much. And I'm pretty sure you can still wield large objects with which to pound us. (Say, once we're all congregated, what are we expected to do? To become villainous and start scaring people, Halloween style, for no reason?)

That's all well and good, but that doesn't mean a curse has no effect, and the Gorgons have a particularly nasty one. What was trying to get across was the Petrification curse trying to get through the Magic resistance of the bandages.

Yeah, and nothing is said about how Gorgon Petrifaction works on undead.

I was just going logically. Rei probably has enough magic power to block it, and it's logical for a Golem to unaffected by that type of thing.
And I will dispute anyone who says I'm not the weakest in this ensemble. Maybe I'm physically stronger than Phi, but his stonegaze more than makes up for that.

Ah, I see, I hadn't thought about him sensing the curse trying to get through, even if it fails. I just wanted to make sure you knew it wouldn't petrify you and that I wasn't missing something about my knowledge of Gorgons.
Your character has more diversity in magic. I'm relying on the utility of my petrification vision, without much else.

Yeah, exactly, we all have effects that make us pretty tough to go up against.

Well, your strength should be sufficient. And you saw all the powers I laid out in the Gorgon page, right? I tried to make it as plausible for an actual Gorgon as possible (with a couple that I think may be a bit extra, but not too farfetched).

I'd have to take a look at it again, Petrification and Strength are the only ones that have stayed in my mind as normal traits for a Gorgon.

I might work more of the abilities in, but I don't want to just add things in once they become convenient.
Wulf, maybe you could just give me a couple of the most prominent abilities and I'll just stick with those.
