No the heck it doesn't. If Alex fudges up another thread with that idiotic debate about Omnipotence, I am going to reach across the internet with the rage of a demon-possessed badger, and strangle both Myself and Alex.

NOW, as for Omnipotence, it is All-Power. Omnipotent Power Negation is impossible, because the capability to negate Omnipotence means that it is not truly Omnipotence in the first place. Omnipotence is ALL power, meaning unmatched, unchallenged, un-negatable, infinite power. Can't be copied, can't be negated, can't be boosted, can't be mimicked or otherwise manipulated, making Omnipotence and the other "Omni powers" (except Omnilingualism) the only PERFECT powers in all existence. By extension, one with Omnipotence possesses every power in all existence, and they are at max capability, and the user automatically has the capacity to use all of these powers (and thus, the user cannot be overwhelmed by Omnipotence, because possessing this power makes you GOD...and if you don't believe in THE God, then it makes you A god).

Now that I have explained this for the FINAL time, we will NOT bring this up again. No ifs, and or buts (the only BUTS that will be allowed in this matter will be the BUTTS that I kick if this comes up again).

I put you there as an example, but you both are fairly powerful users -the power isn't in there number, but how they interact and how powerful they are. For instance, who wins:

Person 1:
Cracktart, Peril Sensitive Eyes, Fart Factory, Vomit on Command and Homing Poop.

Person 2:
Power Of Imagination and Ability Sponge.

I don't know about you, but I have a feeling person 2 wins by a landslide.

Actually, I made Omni Vampire for the sole purpose of having a way to shut Omni-obsessed people up. It doesn't matter what anyone says, it's what Omni Vampire does. Unfortunately, it's useless against Power of Imagination, which, for most intents and purposes, is omnipotence.

I am in absolute agreement with everything Shadowulf1 has said here, in particular the "For the love of any and all deities you may or may not believe in, stop bringing this up!" part. Seriously, it is OLD. If someone has something interesting to say on the topic, it would be different, but it ends up the EXACT SAME WAY. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Not that I'm angry, no one's stepping out of bounds or anything at this point, I just want to stress what I'm saying.

What do you think of Omni Vampire? I made it to bring up on these kinds of arguments.

P.S. Don't worry if you're religious; I am too. OV is only designed to work on the Omni's as powers -it's not as a deity-killer.

thank you, Josh...personally I think it's about time somebody quell this silly argument. Personally, snarky comments about Omnipotence like "can an Omnipotent being make a rock that is too heavy for even THEM to lift?" are annoying to me, and make me wish that I was Justin, so I could BAN them off the site. I am a Christian, so I personally think that God IS Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnibenevolent. People who play around with those terms are highly vexing. Omnipotence is Omnipotence, simple as that, and if this comes up again, I will ask Justin to get rid of any and all traces of even the WORD Omnipotence anywhere in the thread.

As for my opinion on Omni Vampire and Omnipotent Power Negation, I say this:

Omni Vampire should allow one to absorb any ability, except the Omni abilities

and

Omnipotent Power Negation should imply that the Power Negation itself is omnipotent, not that it is capable of negating Omnipotence.

NOW, simply for the sake of quelling strife, and avoiding confusion and meaningless arguments, Alex, Myself and ANYONE else...PLEASE DO NOT BRING THIS UP AGAIN...PLEASE

I don't like it for a variety of reasons. The first and foremost, in the it-as-a-power section, is that it's basically an unbeatable Judge Dredd sort of power- not only is there no way to stop it, it hunts down and determines what is right and wrong on its own, and it KILLS the victim. If it merely impaired their omni-powers (and maybe any self-granted benefits), I would be a lot more inclined to like it, since you would have some conflict.

Note I'm also a firm believer that if something is actually omnipotence, OV wouldn't work- only in stories, or things that call themselves omnipotence, would it be possible for something like OV to work.

But for personal reasons, a good friend of mine had a period where he was really obsessed with omnipotence, and it really endeared me to the concept (I've got to admit it's one of my favorite ideas), and sort of sympathize with those who would want the power (but not those who would constantly ANNOY others with it, to note- there's a difference). So I don't know, I guess I just don't like a Judge, Jury, Executioner power determining that he or someone else trying to escape their own mortality like him judging them as "not worthy" and killing them without question.

But seriously, let's just let this topic drop off the earth...

If it's a forum matter, I can do it since I'm a forum admin too.

As for what happens when someone is banned from the main site, based on what happened to iMi, their profile and their powers will remain, but they won't be able to see the site from their computer. And I believe the ban is IP-based in that case.

I second this, could someone give a more in depth description of the whole kystian situration. I know they are unique summons with powers but are they based on something? and what about the dimension they are in?
