The only problem is that you can't submit them to the main site, but it doesn't keep you from copying and pasting them to a Word document, to save them for later.

so NOW you can add and edit powers, even after the Over Quota has popped up onto the main site.

And as I wrote it, you can't do such a thing as editing a power with the Internet Archive. You can't even access the edit page.

You CAN edit powers. By copying and pasting current abilities (on a cached page from a Google search), you can edit them as though you were still on the main site.

Sorry, but likewise, there are a lot of superpower pages Google Cache never cached... Why do you think I had such a hard time with the latest two swapped powers? And they were not superpowers submitted recently (their page numbers are in the 5000s and the 6000s, more recent ones already reached more than 5,000,000).

Well, the nice thing about having access to the Add page despite the Over Quota Error is to check if a power we'd like to add fits the limits on the number of characters.

Yep, you've missed a lot! I don't know what you've missed, but here are the changes.

First, Justin migrated the main site. It's now hosted by Google. So, we no longer have 502 Bad Gateways anymore, but the access to the site is regulated by a quota. Each access to a page of the main site is counted and once the quota is reached, noone can go to the main site until the next day.

Second, there's a subtle change in the design of the main site, it's become "rounder".

Third, we can now edit our own powers and resubmit them! Mods can edit any powers. Though it still needs some fixing as some powers ended up being switched between creators. Not sure why, we conjectured it may happen when two powers are being edited at the same time.

Fourth, we can now look for powers created by a specific person by searching their username.

Fifth, the profile pages were redesigned!

Not unless we migrate it to another host server.

To get rid of the 502 Bad Gateways, Justin migrated it to a Google App, which allows for a higher number of simultaneous accesses. Unfortunately, it's a paid app. Depending on how much Justin pays, we are only allowed a certain number of accesses collectively each day (PST). It's doomed to be unaccessible during the second half of the day. The best we can do is limit ourselves when we hunt for powers and post it in the forums when we spot any active ones or the allpower time. This way, we can at least delay the blocking.

I don't know the specifics of how Justin receives money from advertisement. Could be pay-per-click? Meaning Justin only receives money when someone clicks on the ads, not when the ad is displayed. And even if he receives money, it would directly go to his bank account or something, not to Google to pay for the App.
