Why? It was all covered from when you first starting this whole incident. Why did you need to 'perfect' this power?

Seriously, if you're holding it out with a power-granting genie, man, no one will blame you. Just make sure you pop over to us and hook us up with that stuff.

That joke aside, this seems to be an exercise in futility. What overarching purpose are you actually claiming to have?

My purpase was to improve the power further and test it out with the other cenariots you were giving me to see if it worked.

Also if you wanted the power you could be granted it with a power duplication thats why I said it doesn't prevent you from duplicating it and getting it for yourself sure the perfect immortal would keep his power and adaptions but you would gain the power also.

So powers that duplicates powers could actualy give you the power also.

It was a joke.

I was asking why you wanted to 'improve' the power at all. It's not going to be on the list or anything, what are you using it for? The joke was that maybe you had some sort of genie in real life that was going to grant you any power that wasn't explicitly omnipotence, which is still pretty much the only reason I can conceive of, impossible as it may be, to raise so much trouble just to get scenarios to test your power out.

I started out by finding out he could adapt gain powers to survive , gain powers, and travel then later on I found out he could use it to adapt even if it was near him, then I figured out it didn't have to be just enviroment it could be anything, and so on.

So I may have started out with a general idea but over the course of our conversations I found out ways to improve it further and then I started adding those improvements to the cenarios and I wound up with a power you could only stalemate.

I actualy figured out it wouldn't get approved but I got the idea that I could use it for my characters power on a superhero rpg even if I had to create it my self so I started improving it so that one day I could use it as my characters power(s) in an rpg.

Also I hope I do find an genie or something that can grant me this power because it would be realy usefull. To bad that is unlikely to happen.

Who are you planning to play that RP with? I don't think I know of any current running RP in the forum that's going to accept that, it's just flat out overpowered...

"Unlikely"? More like flat out imp-ugh. Well, if you do ever find any impossible wish granting entities, be sure to send it my way, or adapt yourself Perfect Immortality granting or something.

Yes I learned not to manipulate people like that next time I will tell you the  truth and ask before I use your cenerations to help further a power.

1) Do not lie to us. Tell us if you've made a mistake, or are actually making changes, not that you 'intended something originally.' There's so many reasons this is wrong.
2) Do not try to make powers 'better' after they've been added. Sure, improve the way they flow, iron out kinks, but don't insult the mods by trying to slip something more powerful by them through additions.
3) If someone tells you your power is overpowered, carefully listen to what they're saying, and listen to the opinions of the people agreeing or disagreeing with them.
4) If EVERYONE posting agrees that it's overpowered, unless they have a CLEAR and BLATANT misunderstanding that changes the ENTIRE function of the power, for example interpreting something like "become almost anything" to be "become omnipotent," then they are ASSUREDLY CORRECT, and it is probably best not to argue for SIXTEEN PAGES.
5) If someone is saying they "officially hate you" and that you are their "most hated person on this site," YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG.
6) Accept that we don't want overpowered things on the list. If you can't formulate an argument that convincingly counters ours, then we are going to move to have your power deleted. Either carefully look over our ideas and arguments and think about them before countering, or just accept that you are too lazy/can't be bothered and let the power be deleted.

I'm sure someone can write this up better later, but seriously, Alex, if you can't realize that you did something HORRIBLY wrong here tonight, then I'm just not sure there's much hope for you in the community here.

Actually, in retrospect, I shouldn't need to write up everything wrong. That last note, with a bit more emphasis, is what my closing remark should be.

Alex, you're acting nonchalant about this. You shouldn't be. You messed up ROYALLY. You made a lot of people VERY ANGRY. If you can not look over this and realize you made a LOT of HORRIBLE MISTAKES, then it's a good bet you are probably not cut out for being in the community based around the list. Whether or not you get outright banned is irrelevant, but there are a lot of us who would not tolerate a repeat of this sort of behavior.

Might I suggest a sincere and thought out apology?

I think I no someone who can help me find an defiant weakness for perfect immortality. His name is jarred he was my concular, he owns an comic book store and is practicly a expert on comics and powers if anyone can find an weaknesses for the power he can. So I am going to ask mom to help me sort out the describtion of the power from what I said in those 16 pages and put it in an more describted and readable foremat.  Even if he can't find one I will have it written down or on an flash drive so I could use it later on in an fourm and website other than this fourm and superpower list.com

I think you all deserve an apology so their fore I have made one.

I know what I did was wrong no worse than wrong and I know I caused alot of trouble and ended up troling I am very sorry and I will try my best not try I will do my best to work harder in the future to make sure I don't do it again, don't make the same mistakes or any mistakes like. @ WHD, Josh and others: Personally, I don't understand how anyone can NOT be done at this point.

@Alex: I know I said I was done a WHILE ago, but now I'm thoroughly, 100%, absolutely, positively, without a doubt DONE. I despise long, drawn out wars (JUST got out of one that spanned YEARS because I made some of the same mistakes YOU did) and I refuse to be drawn into another, especially being on the RECEIVING end now...It's just plain annoying having to 'cast my pearls before swine' (not that you're 'swine', but the expression means that we're giving something good and worthwhile to people who don't appreciate it, or understand it). You need to understand that sometimes people can be right besides you. And I'm sure your counsellor friend will tell you the same thing. Even SUPERMAN's abilities come with a weakness...so I don't see how you can't realize how overpowered this ability is. When HE tells you the same thing..I'd like an apology as well, for wasting my time trying to patiently and politely explain things to you that you should already realize. You were stubborn, and neither I nor the others on this site deserve it. We love to be fair, and have fun and do things in a way that EVERYONE can enjoy, and I hope that NOW you can appreciate that.
