No, it wouldn't take a lot of time. All it takes is one attempt to defeat them, even if it fails. Since someone tried to defeat them, the power will make them adapt to become undefeatable.

All it takes is a good enough stradegy.
Also sense the other part of the power states "you can never die by any means and you are invulnerable to all kinds of damage, can never get sick and you stop ageing after you turn 30" " you will never have to eat, breathe or drink and you will never get tired" so your life bar wouldn't likely go down in the first place. Also don't forgett if the power trading function happens you can have perfect immortality also. |

which is why you have MythPower: Iapetos' Scorn...aside from it's use, or the use of OMNIPOTENCE, you're screwed, and he will be the automatic winner every time. Which is why this ability has to be changed so it is no longer a Mary-Sue power. You'd be immortal, but it wouldn't be to the point of adapting. Anything that could negate one's mortality, like MythPower: Thanatos' Embrace, MythPower: Curse of Ker, MythPower: Iapetos' Scorn and any Grim-Reaping type abilities (the Grim Reaper IS a god/supernatural entity/"ultimate entity" type)

I don't want this power, even if it's the only available one I can find. Since my life bar can never go down, there's no danger and so no point to fight in the first place.

Like I said it stops all power negating it no matter what.
Also Justinm will probaly keep everything I said but add some restrictions for the battle area like making it so that it can't make it so that the life bar will never go down but making it simply go down slower. |

Why would you lose all hope for the site?
Perfect Immortality actualy isn't overpowered. |
Speaking as someone who never plans to do the battle arena,
Perfect Immortality is not only overpowered, it is the single most overpowered power I have EVER heard of, considering the fact that you said it would be able to "adapt to omnipotence." |

If it's not overpowered, then why can it defy a GOD power??? It IS an overpowered mary-sue power, so whether you believe it or not, it is an unfair power, and should not be kept in it's entirety, neither in the list, in the RP or in the BA...
If a god power could overpower it, then you could say it was reasonable, but if it's not capable of being overtaken, it's a god power that adapts you eventually to Omnipotence, Omniscience, and (if I know you well as I think I do) Omnipresence. If nothing can kill you and you adapt to ANYTHING, including GOD powers, then that is unfair on par with the Omnis, and we said we would no more discuss the Omnis, therefore this conversation is moot, unwarranted, illogical and irrelevant in every respect of the word... good day and good riddance to this topic. Bring up something ELSE........................................

Farslayer wouldn't work perfect immortality stops the user from dieing by any means no matter what.
Even if Farslayer did kill them they would adapt resurection which would bring the perfect immortality user back to life and they would become completely invurlnable to farslayer. Also they would gain farslayer with out cons, and any powers and adaption related to it. So Farslayer would only work one time. |

Regardless of if the term "Omnipotence" is explicitly mentioned on the site, or in the forums, that's what Alex is adapting to make of this power...he is absolutely obsessed with the Omni abilities, and can't seem to get them out of his writing, his logic and his ability making. This ability has got to GO...or at least be changed to be fair for the site and the arena. I mean, even the Mythpowers can be negated by the Myth Eater power...

@spydyr, I was about to respond by saying "Well, if I was going to do BA, and Justin didn't delete this power or at least modify, then I'd still probably pick some less over-powered..." but then I realized that if Justin actually let this power into the BA, I'd be in the same boat as you. That is, the one losing all hope and probably leaving.

Actualy a god allows the user to have this power a god above all gods Jesus Christ.
Farther Allmighty, Jesus, and the holy gost surpass the greek gods and goddesses and they alow him to have perfect immortality. Mythpower: Laptos Scorn may be a god power but it Perfect Immortality still wouldn't alow you to cancel it because it stops all negation no matter what. |

I have no idea why MythPower: Iapetos' Scorn wouldn't work...why can this power defy GOD POWERS???
If this power can adapt withstand, control, become, counteract and perceive any force, substance and type of torture/deprivation/harm, then how is this power any different than Omnipotence (other than the fact that you have to ADAPT to have them and don't ALREADY have them)? Either way, you'll eventually be all-powerful, immortal, all-knowing and incapable of being harmed by anything anyhow in any way shape form or fashion. URGH... If this power is NOT a god power, but can DEFY god powers, it makes no sense, and therefore is illogical, incomprehensible, inexcusable and incompetently created. It must be changed so that SOMETHING can affect it. Not stalemate, not draw. DEFEAT. And I don't mean STRATEGY. I mean an ability that can OUTDO it. PS: Would Superiority work? Look it up, and tell me how THAT power couldn't work...

Whether you like it or not, this power is in direct conflict with the rule to reject any superpower which "gives you the power to do anything, the power to make unrestricted wishes, or anything that essentially makes you a god."
'Why', you ask? If there's something you can't do, you just adapt to be able to do it. So, you can do anything! Since the power is in direct conflict with that rule, it musn't be allowed to exist on this website. |

Also Perfect Immortality would adapt to Mythpower: Laptos Scorn
Allowing him complete protection from Mythpower: Laptos Scorn, the power to cancel Mythpower: Laptos Scorn. Also it would give him Mythpower: Laptos Scorn without cons and give you everypower related to it such as all the mythpowers without cons, the ability to control life and death, the ability to control immortality ect. and more adaptions and powers that I didn't list. I am not trying to be unreasonable I am simply giving you the truth Perfect Immortality. |

In other words...it must be changed...or DELETED.

That's not immortality, that's OMNIPOTENCE. Don't bring God into this...He has nothing to do with your so-unholy-it's-unreal logic. Immortality means YOU CAN'T DIE. It doesn't give you control over ANYTHING. It means you CANNOT BE KILLED...that is all, and nothing more. So for you to add on to it anything else, is going beyond the realms of immortality, and due to the All-power of the nature of this ability, making you essentially immortal, this should either be changed to be more reasonable, or be removed...
