New Beginning 22: Once Upon a New Beginning...

[Humunculi]

The fighter: "We still have plenty of fight left in us if you do" I throw my thumb up in approval with a pleasant grin on my face "I don't really see the point in repairing the place though,  by the time we r done fighting there won't be a planet left"  

(If I do get to use 1 of my ultimate moves I have a good way to progress the story"

[Zaleramancer]

"Yeah, I'll not let you destroy Mars. It's a valuable piece of the solar system that would be rather annoying to repair."

I drop the scythe into my shadow. It was practically dead for the new few subjective weeks after that blow.

From thin air, I draw a golden trident with lightning insignias.

"I suppose it's my turn."

Spinning the trident windmill fashion, it leaves a circle of glowing electricity. The smell of ozone fills the air as molecules are manipulated by the intense heat.

With a flourish, I point it in my foe's direction.

Several electrical arcs spring forth from the circle, darting towards him with speed like.. well.. lightning.

[Humunculi]

I quickly pull my arms together in front of my face and then turn to stone.  Zale's lightning hits with force basting me back a few feet but over all zale's attack was not effective.  

The fighter: "Nice move, my turn now" I say in a happy tone.

I begin to charge at zale with one arm cocked back ready to punch but right as I get about 5 ft away I disappear then a split second later I instantly reappear then disappear many times throwing a barrage of punches and kicks as I do so.

"Yeah! Give 'em the ole one two Hum...."

In a quiet point, realizing how little I train my powers, I begin to train my telekinesis to make me a better fighter in the event of a battle.

(I might be making semi-relevant posts more often, since I'm trying to get my post count up ).

I decide to shapeshift again, this time to my normal, lanky self with the addition of angel wings (and of course elven physiology, due to Half Elf*).

The resulting force throws me backwards, into a nearby table. A comfortably dressed young man with a pink scarf lifts his coffee cup in time for me to crash through his table.

"Hello, Master Zale. I trust you are finding this fine Martian day to your liking?"

I blink and respond.

"Hey Amaros! Haven't seen you in ages. Surprised you aren't back on Earth."

"I am presently enjoying a vacation."

"Ah, I'm glad. Touring the solar system?"

"Correct."

"I'll happily show you some of the sights later, but right now I have to force-feed someone a lightning bolt."

Amaros waved lazily and returned to his book.

I shoot out at super-sonic speeds, whipping my electrical trident at Humunculus's head.

[The Junkyard Cat]

Still a see through projection Cabanilla floats around a bit board from the looks and sound of it he's talking to someone that isn't there.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Go whip him from here to the other side of the known universe, mage," Suzu cries out.

[The Narrator]

*snores, drooling*  

*Falls off chair*

"Vorpial!" I shout awaking....

[Zaleramancer]

The young man in the pink scarf sighs, closes his book and walks over to Suzu.

"Since it is far to loud to concentrate on my novel, I might as well join the spectators. I am Amaros." He said with a elaborate bow, " Might I inquire as to your name?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Suzu blinks in amusement before replying, "I am Suzu, Head Maid of Lady Shigemoto."

[Zaleramancer]

"Grand greetings, Miss Suzu. I am afraid I've not heard of your Lady."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Suzu laughs, "You probably haven't as Mistress likes to get things done without causing a huge disturbance among affairs of a world or a nation. I, however, don't need to worry about finesse as much and just retrieve what Mistress desires in any way possible. If I recall correctly, I'm probably a criminal in hundreds of different worlds. But that's all besides the point. You introduced yourself as Amaros. Who are you?"

[Zaleramancer]

Amaros chuckles.

"I am friend, teacher and occasional consultant to Master Zale. He freed me from a rather dreadful place. Such is why I consider him such a valuable ally and friend."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Interesting. And what is your take on this battle? Personally, I think that they could take a little bit less time to be flashy, but it is nice to watch either way."

[Zaleramancer]

"Of course. Master Zale is show-boating. He has a weakness for it at times."
