"Ow, ow, ow....fucking ow! That stings!" I cry out and the energy wash over me. Thinking fast I sink into the gound around me, hopefully below the range of the energies. Like a shark I swim rapidly through the dirt, straight for Brutus's feet.

"To true. I employ avatars and mouthpieces, such as the one before you, for this purpose. Such branching is easy for me, of course."

"I do wonder what a retired Elder Thing would want to do."

"Fish, mostly. I enjoy the irony. Vacation. Soak in the sun. Drink wine out of ladies boots. Uncomplicated stuff. Had enough of esoteric orders and the like."

"Aaaaaah, come on," Suzu cries out. "Beat each other up! Don't play around like that! Beat each other up and ENJOY the fight! Tricks like the ones you two are using are no fun in my opinion!"

Karma, in her mobile robotic body, approaches Suzu.

"Patience sword wielder. Marv does not leave a fight without causing substantial collateral damage. I'm sure his recent actions are only a prelude to the building of power for a more devastating attack."

Wow. Never seen a battle this long. I put two on the earth traverser.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Hnnnnn, if he's going to build up for an attack, I think it would be better to attack while building up that power though," Suzu whines. "Or to take a leaf from Mistress' book, gather together all the power that has been used so far during the battle to strike at your foe. That way they get hit by all their own power too."

"Do not doubt his strategy. He may seem foolhardy, but he knows what he's doing. Your idea of the best strategy is not his, nor would your fighting style translate well to his. Have faith that Marv know's what to do."

"Hmph, I'll watch and comment as I like," Suzu replies. "But the only one I have faith in is Mistress."

"Then you willingly turn a blind eye to the world. You cannot see what I do in Marv, nor in others of his kind if you choose to look at only one individual in the light of faith," Karma responds with no emotion before leaving.

Suzu shrugs and turns back to watch the fight.

Karma overhears Humunculi's bragging and approaches him to investigate.

"You sound so sure of yourself, but I do not believe you are as prepared as you claim. Who are you that you believe you can learn so much?"

"I'm pondering when to battle you, Multi-faceted one."
