I depart from Lady Von Inge and travel down the hallway she indicated.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

The hallway twists and curves, and you see a light at the end of it.
It exits into a large arena with a roaring crowd waiting in the stands. The Lady emerges from her door, glancing around from the shade of her parasol.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

(Roman Coliseum?)
I exit from my door and take a fighting stance across from my opponent. Halo in my right hand and a small transparent sphere with a gray outline hovering in my left. "Just waiting on the signal to begin" I say

A robotic looking roman emperor stood in one of the high balconies.
With his wave, a trumpet blew.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

My body ripples and shifts as sharp quartz armor melts out of my skin to encase me. My right arm twists and widens to form the rough shape of a tubular cannon, while the shoulder grows longer and more pronounced spikes.
"Yes...I believe I am." A quartz face plate quickly snaps shut to hide all but my eyes which burn a brilliant white. My voice changes to sound thin and clipped as if speaking through an old pipe. "Let's see what you're made of."

The rings on my irises begin to rotate as I analyze the data around me and my wings flare out, propelling me forward. I swing with Halo to test out my opponent.

Lady Von Inge moves.
Or, rather, it appears that the universe politely tilts for her. Space crumples with a sad squelch and she is right before Philote. She flicks at Halo with the crushing weight of a few planets.

"I'm not here...just a projection is all I could muster from your restrictions its like a phone call of sorts really helped me in a lot of situations." Cabanilla was quick to state. "I could always force my way into your lab, but that would be rather rude."

The null-data of Halo absorbs most of the impact but I am still forced to draw my swing back.
"Let's shift space in my favor this time" I say as I land upon the grounds of the arena next to her. As I land, I inject code from the Labyrinth Virus within me into the arena. Continents expand between and behind us as the virus reads and expands the data of the arena. Coliseum walls of designs from countless worlds spring up to define the landscape. The expanded space grows only within the arena, so that volume of the arena remains the same only to those viewing from the outside. I rest upon a growing tower. "Let's see how you fight with all this data built up between us" I call from across the multitude of continents.

"Interestink, but futile."
Space.. twisted, pulling into torturous loops by an immense force. The point of space-time near the Lady abruptly became the same as the one atop the tower. She raised her hand to bring crushing strength to bear once more.

(That's if Suzu was human, which she's only partially so. And under D&D rules from Immortal's Handbook, her master, my current main character Shigemoto Wen Mei, weighs slightly more than 1000 tons, but can still levitate/fly around.) Suzu bows in response, "Thanks, that was some good exercise."

"Go and do what? Besides, supernatural just means that it's not capable of being done with natural training. Magic falls under that heading as does ki."

"Everyone knew they were there, but we were refraining from overtly mentioning it! Now I can't listen to their wacky commentary." I sulk. "It's only not magic by technicality!"

"It's still not magic though, and to notice and not tell everyone else is just as rude, don't you think? Besides, they can still comment if they want to. I don't particularly care whether they comment so long as I can talk as well with them."
