Akako looks over all the purchases with a joyous look while the guys take the chance to rest... and maybe even nap.

[Zaleramancer]

"It's lovely. The laws are fairly tolerant, there's no need for military service because of the Giants and the architecture is simply beautiful. Durhian made, you know?" Amalia fidgets with a bead necklace as she speaks, "It's a bit colder than where I come from but I usually cheat with a little warmth spell."

Kagehana: "This'll probably be a good spot to send some of Mina's Yukionna and Yukiotoko. That race loves cold areas, especially ones that are freezing cold."

[Zaleramancer]

The former God-Emperor sits on his throne, wrapping in a hooded cloak. Nothing of his face or features can be seen from it. Where he once towered above even the Giants, now he sits shrived and silent.

He pays the envoy no attention.

"Yukionna? Yukiotoko?" The Sorceress inquired curiously.

"I have learned some of your condition. You have lost your people due to revolution and the Watchman's interference. Through conflict your power was lost and through conflict it can be regained." Power laces Yojimbo's words as he tries to persuade the king (-1 attempted curse). "Conquest can give back what you lost and more. You have the power."

[Zaleramancer]

For the first time, Hazet stirs.

Divine energy of another had touched him. A spark of distant fury grew. Something was trying to affect him.

Kagehana: "The Yukionna are the females while the Yukiotoko are males, but they're the same basic race. They, in their own words, breed and live best in cold areas. They are not demons but youkai. Youkai can help or harm others just like any living being. It's the same with demons, they can help or harm. Though imps are horrible craftsmen."

[Philote]

Yojimbo stood his ground. "Are you not willing to take my blessing and reclaim your loss? It can be no worse than the curse you have already laid on yourself."

"If you are angry, take it out on the ones that took your kingdom from you."

[Zaleramancer]

"Hmm. I'm not sure how the Wall would react to these.. Youkai. It may just lump them with demons, which would make living here rather impossible." The Sorcereress tilted her head slightly as she considered the issue, "Though, if they like cold, I could round up some of my students and partners, then bind a cooling spell to something. It could cover a fairly large area. Of course, those things wouldn't be cheap."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana: "If I were to describe Youkai, it would be with the translation of 'youkai' which is 'spirit.' And even then a cooling spell wouldn't help that much. Yukionna and Yukiotoko prefer natural cold over magical cold."

[Zaleramancer]

"Ech. That'd take a climate altering spell. I hate those. Takes forever to get right and rarely ever sticks.." Amalia mutters for several more minutes in bewildering magical jargon.

Power begins to swirl around Hazet and he rises from his throne, growing in height.

Kagehana: "The Yukionna and Yukiotoko could probably make a living in the Free Cities anyway, because they can control ice and snow, although they're physically weak and slow."

[Zaleramancer]

"The question is not what powers they have, but how they would use them to insure payment.." Amalia said as she snapped back to the conversation, "If they have pseudo-magical abilities, then they'll probably end up having to abide by the same regulations I have to."

[Philote]

Yojimbo puts his hand on his blade. "I am a being of Conflict. I know how you have suffered because of it. We both stand to gain from a conquest to rebuild your empire."
