Lords of Creation (New Story Thread)

"Not buying it. Your lies will not persuade me." Lo-kag says.

He swings his club and a bolt of lightning jumps off of us.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Oh, come now. Since when has the truth been lies?" Kagehana asks as she creates a shield of shadows to block the lightning.

[Philote]

"Too much talk, face me!" Lo-kag sends a boom of thunder towards Kagehana.

Meanwhile, a voice enters Kagehana's head. "I'm speaking to you through a Shardmind. I can take Lo-kag away from you if you wish." Bahamut says.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana responds while maintaining her shield, *I would love that. In my opinion, if there is no need to face someone then why fight? I see no reason to fight Lo-Kag and he is quite nice looking. I wouldn't want to accidentally mar his face."

[Philote]

Bahamut continues to speak into Kagehana's head. "I find this funny, mostly because of how serious you seem."

Lo-Kag continues to charge lightning around him when suddenly he begins to fade into a golden light. "What is going on! I haven't finished my fight yet." Lo-Kag fades away into the Plane of Heroes.

"The wounded Goliath will not bother you, leave them to return to their home. Good luck with your quest."

*Thank you and I am completely serious about what I said,* Kagehana replies as she slips through the shadows to where she was before Yojimbo trespassed on her task and once more hides herself within the shadows.

[Philote]

Kagehana waits and the sun begins to set.

When the sun is barely remaining on the horizon, the dragon lands at its lair. Blood covering its mouth.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana continues to lie in wait until the dragon's belly is right above her then stabs the belly with a giant claymore composed of solid shadows and swings down to split open the dragon from belly to heart (Just like that one Norse hero, I think he was called Sigfried).

[Philote]

The dragon roars with pain and streams fire from its jaws in all directions as its head flips around. It walks forwards some and collapses over, still roaring with flame.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana hides in the shadows created by the dragon's own body and waits for its head to go down before slashing at its neck with her claymore.

[Philote]

The Dragon's body goes limp and lays dead at Kagehana's feet.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana knelt by the dragon and checked to see if it was truly dead before slippingthrough the shadows to where she had last met Bahamut physically to finalize anything that needed to be finalized, leaving the carcass for scavengers and those of the land to use.

Bahamut flies through the air and lands on the beach where they met before when he senses that her job is done.

Kagehana: "Hello, Bahamut."

"I see you've finished your task. As we agreed, I will have the races build a port on the edge of our border to act as a trading post. Are you satisfied with this?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana: "Yes. I am satisfied with this arrangement. Whether or not my mistress is though, will be determined by how she treats me when I return with the news. Adieu!" (I'm going to consider this as a +1 mote for getting something for the Shadow-Scarred who are under the Shadow domain)

Kagehana slips into the shadows to return to Mina. Before reporting to Mina she puts the Mugen-no-Magatama in the last hiding spot of Mina's that Mina would think to look. Kagehana reports back to Mina and Mina thinks a little bit before responding, "You did well. I am glad to know that you can take down a dragon. As a reward, you get three things. First, you and any of my future heroes will stop aging unless female and with a child. Second, you and the rest of the Shadow-Scarred get the Shadowscape as a place to store items. The third part you will get later when it is finished." (-2 for miracle, -4 for new plane, +1 for furthering domain)

Kagehana bows her head in gratitude and glee, "Thank you, mistress."

Mina chuckles, "I have a new task for you. You are to go to the wall that separates my territory from the other god's and find out what one of the cities at the wall is like. Take three of your fellow Shadow-Scarred with you for this."

Kagehana nods, "Yes, mistress. I will begin preparations for this task."

I feel that enough time has passed since the last race I created, so I prepare a new one to be introduced. This race shall be known as the Shifter (-3 motes). They shall have a deep connection to the animal kingdom and to nature itself, and like the races before them, they shall have a hero to be lead by (-1 mote, +1 domain)

After creating so many races, I feel a connection with the flesh that makes their body. I name myself a crafter of bodies and take on the Domain of the Body for myself (-3 motes).

AfterKagehana left, Mina concentrates on her surroundings and soon a black katana blade forms before connecting to a black hilt with a hiltguard formed to look like rose petals (-4 motes, +1 for domain). Then a magatama on a string appears (-4 motes, +1 for domain) and Mina quickly ties the string to the end of the katana's hilt. When Kagehana returns with the 3 Shadow-Scarred that she'd chosen for the task.

Mina: "Here is the third part of the reward I promised you, Kagehana. This will be your katana to use. It will have whatever name you choose for it."

Mina hands the katana to Kagehana who draws it and admires the blade before saying, "Kagenobara. That is what I shall name this beautiful blade."

Mina chuckles, "The magatama on the end is the Kara-no-Magatama and will absorb energy into itself. What are the names of those you have chosen to go with you, Kagehana?"

Kagehana gestures at the three Shadow-Scarred, "These three are called Akako, Hoseki, and Kizuato. I chose them for their skills mistress."

Mina: "Good. Now go and complete the task I asked of you."

Kagehana slips through the shadows to one of the Free Cities with the other three going in right after her.
