Some is good, but not all.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

That seems fair.
GV, my email is being difficult today so I did not manage to send you one to discuss things, but you we can always discuss here for now. I've been thinking about how the Durhians and Milteos relationship would have developed over the years. I've begun to think that I make things interesting by introducing a little conflict. And by a little...I mean a lot. So how's this sound? After so many years of working together in harmony, with the Miteos mining materials and the Durhians crafting those materials into works of art, their mutual relationship began to change. The Durhians began to grow rich off selling their wares and giving less and less back to the Milteos who provided them with the means. Soon the Durhians grew too greedy and began treating the Milteos like slaves, forcing them to work and buying out cheap labor. The Milteos were treated like second class citizens by the wealthy merchants. The Milteos have begun to rebel and now a civil war is brewing in the west of Alabastra. Of course not all Durhians and Milteos are at odds, but a vast majority in the West cities are. The Rheans of course are caught in the crossfire and are shunned by parties on both sides, but are more accepted by the Milteos.

@Dryad: Your Gargoyle race.....When they turn to stone, is it only a full body deal or can they selectively turn parts of their body to stone? Also, can they move while in stone form, or are they immobile? Can they still hear or see? If they are completely stone, how can they think and change back? I only ask, because I may need to borrow your race to make a support character for something.

I'm going to start pilfering mortals and mythos from all places to make characters.
Fun fun fun. Especially since any character I introduce will automatically be assumed to be plot important.

This plays in really well with my Iris Network, just letting you know right now. I can't talk about it in the open because I want some things to be surprises.
Of course, the minute he sensed that unrest the Watchman would have the Milteo's unionizing. Except the crafters start bringing in Eternian union busters, so things escalate. The ones running the post and news I'd planed to be triplets. Hither Tomes, Thither Tomes, and Yon Tomes. Hither, Durhian, head of the whole shebang. Head editor, postmaster general. Fabulously wealthy, a complete workaholic, prides himself on the fair and balanced tone of the Daily. Employs a Genasi bodyguard named Dynamo. Thither, Rhean, head of the Postflight, caretaker of the Deathbeaks, thrill junky playboy. Devil may care attitude, invented "Dragon Baiting", Pitching Master. The type of guy who tell outrageous stories that are hard to disbelieve. Yon, Milteo, Ace Reporter, gathers the raw material that Hither spins into gold. Calm, quiet, and as unstoppable as the tides. Can make someone talk more with silence than any amount of flattery or coercion. Abroad a lot.

I can tell you the name of the Network enigmatic leader: Ichabod Cornelius Ulster.
Between this, Unrest up north and down south, not to mention the on again/off again Underwar between the Vandals and the Fomor-Gravi it seems Gilgamesh's last scream is still echoing around the world.

Interesting, I'm curious how this plot will play out.
Maybe the goblin migration could be a catalyst for the conflicts in Crav's land?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Hazet's land will have a varied degree of oppressiveness.
Of course, He'd crack down on any overt divine activity...

I thought it would be fun to classify people according to M:TG colors.
Zaya: Blue/Black Waverider: Red/hints of Green Hazet: White/Red(?) Hazet doesn't seem pure white..

I'm guessing Gilgamesh's pantheon will fall under Red. Possibly Red/Green if you count his domain of the Body and the amount he built stuff up.

Useful.
White is the color of light and law, peace and community. ..but it's also the color that would merrily sacrifice the individual for the group, or enforce propaganda and conformity. Blue is reason and logic.. It wants to know everything.. This is a good/bad thing. Black is the color of parasitism and amorality.. .. but also of capitalism and individualism. It's very pragmatic. Red is the color of freedom and emotion. It's the color that would happily smash everything, then make it all over again just as happily. Finally, Green is the color of interdependence, instinct and nature. It can be the nicest thing you ever know, or the thing that smashes you to bits under a giant heel.

Zaya is Blue/Black because she's both intellectual and somewhat amoral. Very pragmatic, and always learning.
Always looking for an angle. Always looking. Period. Her methods are very blue, in that they rely on things she knows and things she uses. Her goals are often blue or black. She'll do anything that's necessary, even if it's something objectionable.

You're the only one who knows what you're going to accept for rules though. We've made suggestions so we need you to pick how its going to work Or at least tell us what options we need to fix.
