Hello, Myself here. As one of your friendly superpower list admins, I have decided to make a helpful thread for newcomers. This will prevent you from needing to go through the hassle of going through getting to know the admins here. This thread has been in planning for a long time.

As for rules, there aren't many. For more detail, go into Vespert's thread. Here are basic ones of mine that cover almost everything:
1) No trolling: This hasn't happened in a long time, fortunately. The last troll, Necronero, had his IP address banned.
2) Respect each other: Luckily, this happens in all except very rare circumstances, when it is often a simple argument or misunderstanding (which is surprisingly rare, given language barriers).
3) Obey your local admins and mods: We aren't dictating (probably because most of us cannot be bothered ) we just sometimes need to say "stop" to certain things. Luckily, like the others, this hasn't been a problem for a long time.

As I cannot fully describe other admins and mods myself, despite being here for two years, I encourage other mod/admins to post information here so I do not have to do it and thus risk posting incorrect information.

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Punctuality: I am on the site every day, from when I get home from school (currently on holidays ).
Age: I turned 18 earlier this year.
Languages: English (native), Esperanto (bad).
In New Beginning: I am a cat, lycanthrope, mastermind, scientist, benevolent dictator, reality warper, vampire and half elf. I know, it is a tad complicated.
Things you should know about me: I am religious, though I am also of a secular mind (ignore the paradox ). I also have Asperger's Syndrome, but due to extensive experience in social situations, this doesn't show up much (I bet most of the admins/mods have forgotten/don't know about it ), except in pedantic spelling, grammar and punctuation. I am of a close resemblance to the character Andrew Detmer in the 2012 movie "Chronicle". I also had a brush with foretelling the future in one of the threads.
How I got my name: I was trying to think of a name for the main site and came up with the name "Myself" as a bit of a joke to make those referring to me refer to themselves instead. It has since long worn off.

Punctuality: I'm on nearly everyday though most of the time my posts are limited to the RP section
Birthday: Sept. 3rd 1992

In New Beginning: I am this.
Things you should know about me: I am a Christian. I am also currently in the Arts and Technology program at my college.
How I got my name: Philote came from a book I read where it was the name of a subatomic particle that was more data than matter, I liked the idea so I took it and added onto it to make the basis of the power I use in New Beginning.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Location: Florida
Punctuality: I'm on nearly everyday, throughout 40-70% of the day. If you log in and I'm not on, I'm either close to logging or have just logged off.
Age: 22
Languages: English, Gongolanian, Celadonian (which basically means only English, since nobody else speaks the last two )
In New Beginning: I am all of this stuff, and more.
Things you should know about me: I'm Christian (Nondenominational Protestant). I am black, male and nothing like the stereotypes surrounding my race or religious faith. My interests neither consist of sports nor making music. I prefer mythology, philosophy, religion and psychology.
How I got my name: Prince Shadowulf Lycurgus VonBane is a character that I made up in 9th grade. He was a lycanthropic prince in a comic that I made, which was based off of a mediocre short story I wrote. I fell in love with the character, and he is partly the reason I expounded upon the entire Celadon mythos, so I chose to don his name as a constant grateful reminder.

Punctuality: I usually check the forums at least once a day, depending on how busy I am and such.
Age: I am 18.

In New Beginning: A Post-Human-Weird-Magical-Thing.
Things you should know about me: I am a gay, white, male agnostic. I usually avoid discussing religion simply because It rarely ends well. I like an awful number of books and even more webcomics. I frequent several forums. If you ever see someone named "Zale", "Zaleramancer" or "Matues", then it's likely me.
How I got my name: I was obsessed with FF 12 when I joined the forums. My name comes from Zalera (One of the summonable creatures from the game) and -Mancer (Meaning Diviner of).

I usually go by Zale.

Hey guys, it's Whaliens, and apparently I've been made a moderator .

Location: Somewhere in New South Wales, Australia
Punctuality: When I can (which is usually, but sometimes I might be busy)
Age: At this current time, 15
Languages: English, but I speak a little bit of Indonesian (It was taught at my school - I'M VERY VERY LIMITED)
In New Beginning: I have yet to join New Beginning

Things you should know about me:  Okay, I'm a Christian white male (Anglican), but I won't talk about that in the forums so that it doesn't offend people who aren't. I'm really fascinated by science, history and english. I like drawing, but I usually don't draw things that already exist. If it already exists, like a horse or a dog or something, then I need to follow a specific form and specific rules, but if I make up what I draw, there are no rules. I like aliens, and I like searching for exoplanets on the internet. My favourites are TrES 2b, Kepler 22b and others. I am, as I describe, a Collector of Random Objects and Shiny Things (COROST). This means that if I find something on the ground that someone left there, and I find it interesting, I will keep it. Its to stimulate my imagination. I often imagine what they would look like if they were larger or something like that. I also dismantle broken electronics that I find and collect their circuit boards. It's not as though I can fix them, it's just that they look cool.

How I got my name: I like randomness, animals and aliens. So I thought a completely random name would be Whaliens123 (a combination of Whale and Aliens), although it's easier sometimes to call me Whaliens without 123. I've also been referred to as Whaley. I also like the term 'Alien Whale'.

 Well, glad to welcome you formally, Whaley. And just so you know, I'm typically the one who gives out nicknames on the forum, primarily for convenience (so naturally, Dryad, WHD, 667, spydyr, Myself and some others didn't need them). In fact, I think I started the trend:

Zaleramancer= Zale

Marvelous_Miscreant= Marv

Philote= Phi

Jester_of_God= Jester (though Marv later began referring to him as Mik--wonder who it was that called him Mikkie Mouse? )

Bug10000= Bug (Bugs, Bugsy, Entomon Insectus the 10,000th, Insect, Bugs Bunny, etc)

Gentleman_Vaultboy= GV or Vault

Wonder_Drow= WD

And probably more. And as my username says, I also go by Wulf.

In New Beginning: An Alien Creature from a planet where all sentient creatures are composed of earth materials.
Things you should know about me:  I'm college Student at UTD studying 3D Modeling and Texturing. I'm an aspiring digital artist with a few skills in Flash animation. I have a bit of memory problem and often forget things if not reminded. I spend most of my time online on either this forum or DeviantART. I also have a very specific form of Thalassophobia and Ichthyophobia in that I'm deathly afraid of large sea creatures of any kind.
How I got my name: It's a funny story actually. It started as sort of a joke as I initiated an account to defend my opinion of Marvel characters to another member and sort of just extended from there.

In New Beginning: Right now I'm the character named Shigemoto Wen Mei aka Crescent who's searching for the Artifacts created by her ancestors
Things You Should Know About Me: I'm red-green colorblind, so don't ask me to look at clothes you think are cool, also I really get annoyed when people miss details that are important to a storyline, like people saying that Kenpachi never said that his Zanpakutou is constantly in Shikai when he said it on p17 of Ch109 and Yoruichi confirmed it 11 chapters later. As well, I'm really into manga and anime with my current favorite being To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.
How I Got My Name: Ok, my first username, Dryad, was because I had a character and I really like mythology. Mysecond and current username is because well... It's the name I wish I had and the name given to me by my grandparents respectively. Really like it too since it means "Knowledgable Sky"
