Sooooooo, how does New Beginning work and would now be a good time to jump in?

New Beginning is basically a randomly decided plot (sometimes as many as three or four) per thread. Typically we call dibs on who narrates which plot. Others agree, or disagree, and once it's decided, we follow suit with whatever plot is currently unfolding.

However, one thing remains; the premise of the story is that we have gained whatever powers we've acquired from the main Superpower List site, and whatever we do, we do using said powers.

As such, myself, Zale, Marv, Phi, Bug, Jester, Dryad, etc are among the most powerful beings in the multiverse (which means many campaigns we embark on require us to limit ourselves, to keep gaming fun).

Yup. The other thing you forgot is that anything gained in previous plots remains for use in later plots.

I think someone defined it as "A bunch of reality warpers looking for something to do."

We basically.. just sort of do things. Exceedingly free-form. Every so often, we'll come up with some reason to fight something.

I'm running the current mini-arc. People are fighting various characters I came up with, because some invasive force from another multiverse is trying to steal power off of me and infect the world.

It's trying to reduce the number of possible beings that would pose a challenge to it. Of course, this will backfire as soon as everyone converges on it.

They'll have to get through my Library though. Which should be an interesting challenge. An Intellectual one, rather than simply a "Let's blow it up/kill it." one.

You can pop in if you want.

It's really high-tier powerful, so be sure to pick a character who could at least destroy a large army.
