that makes absolutely...NO sense.
(let's not even MENTION the biblical implications...)

Not entirely true as there are several cases in the bible dictating that god has been able to take physical and corporeal forms when needed, so it is posible to have one main body, but your physical awarenes and presence could incorporate the whole of existence, although saying that I repeat my earlier statement that you would become a vegetable because of the instant overload of information accompanied y an almost imediate loss of self branching off from the original side affect.
by the way great job being humble about your copy of the Gift Of Gab.

Being Omnipotent, of course God can take a physical form if He desired...He's GOD. However, His TRUE form is not physical, but that of a spirit.
And yes, my capabilities ARE God-given, that's not being immodest, it's telling the truth.

Warning those of the atheist religion, is it a religion? or those of religions not relating to Judaism, Christianity, or Islam may find offence to this statement.
Yeah, but a saint is humble, they never really refer to their abilites as their own anyway. In essense all of our abilites are gifts from god that we use and cultivate with his blessing. I'm just saying that Normally people don't really admit having god given abilities simply because they are either to humble to consider themselves of such importance, or realize the implications that may result from such an act. I was not questioning your gift of gab

If you had any power would you rather it be scientifically based or magically based?
If you want you are free to interchange magically based with faith-based etc. Discuss....... and please no arguments-----that kind of ruins things As for me, I'd rather have a scientifically based power because I like trying to reason out the intricacies of the power. |
Magic is a type of science.

I'm not sure.
P.S. WHD, you wrote "Magic is harder to learn than magic." I believe you meant "Magic is harder to learn than science." Just pointing it out to you.

Magical...better than science. Because science is based on that which society currently knows to be fact, they also know how it can be countered.
i.e. Titanium sword vs. Adamant sword= Adamant sword wins (it was so strong that the gates of Tartarus were sealed with it in Greek Myth) Spiritual/Divine...better than science. Because spiritual powers cannot be comprehended by the mind of the "modern man" (if they can't see/smell/hear/feel/taste it, it cannot exist...) it makes for a very unpleasant surprise. Not to mention how incredibly powerful spiritual entities are (not to even MENTION God...) i.e. pitchfork v. POSEIDON'S TRIDENT i.e. javelin v. ZEUS' THUNDERBOLT i.e. helmet v. HADES' HELM OF INVISIBILITY i.e. Army of men v. ARMY OF ANGELS Divine is pure win. Even better than magic. Nuff said.
