Cheshire Choker - classic. Me likey.
I'm intrigued by your reference to the Enneal Realm of Horrors. Would you care to elucidate?

Quartz? I sensed the word quartz being mentioned and this thread seemed a likely source!

Plus, I should also add that there's a reason for my objects' names to be so concise and alliterative.
Unlike most magical objects, their names have to be called out, to be used. Allies of the objects' creator (and their descendants) would have the added boon of being magically privy to a temporary bond with the objects, in which the objects themselves would reveal their true names for use. Everyone else, though, would have to find the names out for themselves, study up, and hope that memory would serve them well, with time. For most other magical objects, though, I see absolutely no problem with giving the object as long or short or simple or complex or straightforward or abstract a name as you like. I think yours would actually be great for a D&D type setting (based on what little I know of D&D).

Why certainly.
I came up with the name in an attempt to be both straightforward and stylistic. 'Enneal' is a word of my own invention, meaning 'within the mind' (Greek en, in + noe, mind). And, for all intents and purposes, the Realm itself is a psychic compendium of everything that any sentient being in the known and unknown universe fears, has feared, will fear and can potentially fear. A part of the collective unconscious, reserved for the specific negativity arising from fear; naturally, it is highly responsive to the uneasiness, apprehension, dread and cowardice of others, and is thus the source and resting place for all nightmares. Though, while in most cases, it can only be reached by astral projectors, dreamwalkers, denizens of the Realm (the Boogeyman, fay, numerous other dark deities, entities, spirits and creatures), and the like, the Quartz Quietus can send folks there, as well. At the user's will. Though, until I can come up with one myself, the objects' creator has yet to think of a way to bring banished subjects back.

Indeed. And a powerful source, indeed.
The Quartz Quietus is among my favorite gem-based Rarae Objecti. And it's one of the few whose name and/or purpose I didn't have to completely overhaul. This one's actually stayed intact during my entire Rare Object rework. It has the power to banish foes to a metaphysical nightmare world.

Is it weird that I kinda want one?

Not weird at all. I'd love to get my hand on any of the Rarae Objecti. That's basically why I made them. To be deadly weapons, but also tempting treasures.
I mean, really. If you did end up getting one, you'd have the only one in existence. And rarity, as the objects' creator would soon find out, seems to attract a lot of potential takers...

I think maybe it has less to do with it being powerful and more to do with it being Quartz...

Um, yeah, and then there's the whole 'I'm this guy and this is my theme' motivation, too.

Okay, so I've just looked back on some old objects, which I thought I needed to get rid of when I was younger.
The Mask of Mumbo and the Jewel of Jumbo. They'd have to be repurposed, but there appears to be use for them yet. Time for me to get thinking on what their new effects can be...

I would imbue all my remotes with "teleport to your master when called". In a house full of little ankle-biters, you can imagine our remotes go missing multiple times per day

To imbue any lost item with Recall would be nice, I think.
I despise losing things.

In Smackgiver's situation, a power that makes pooches retrieve lost items might also be quite useful.
Sadly such power isn't available yet on the SPL.

I sense an opportunity there, Drow....
Also, if the user doesn't currently own a pet, he/she could summon a temporary, Astral pet, not unlike Drizzt and Guenhwyvar.

Astral pets huh. Those can't be seen by normal people right?
But it seems such a waste to summon a cool invisible pet just to retrieve a remote control. I have another idea. Why limit to pooches or in extension pets to do the retrieval? A power to order the house flies or other bugs to look for the remote. With their facet eyes they won't miss any spot.

Finally, a proposed solution for making houseflies useful.

I have an object to that effect; the Unit of Ubiquitous. It is shaped like a fly itself, and allows you to see through other creatures' eyes, as well.

I am more that willing to create such a power. Are there any objections? Shall Wonder_Drow create it as the creator of the idea? Perhaps Smackgiver?

Sure, you may go ahead with creating such power.
I kinda refrain myself from adding more powers. (even though I still note ideas in my smartphone) Mostly because I would suffer from the temptation to possess them. And my willpower is keeping me from going over the 888 limit.
