Anyone want to help me work on an SCP that we can submit to the SCP Foundation site?

I had an idea for a pen that allows those that use it to draw treasure maps that lead to real treasures, of course the best part about SCPs are the dangers that come along with the item.

Such as a person running out of ink and using their blood to finish the map until they eventually die of blood lose, or a person who starts drawing the map on their skin until they die by carving into themselves with the tip of the pen to finish the "map."

Then we can create a test log that goes with it that describes different anomalies that happen with the use of the pen. Such as a person given a map of the foundation to draw a map on and being found dead in its vents three days later after trying to follow the map. A person given a picture of the moon to draw a map on, but they place the X in the empty space of the picture and refuse to draw more. A person given a map from a fictional story who then goes to draw on everything but the picture, stating that "he would soon find the entrance" throughout the whole process.

So, do some of the really good writers on this site want to collaborate with me to create a valid entry for the SCP site?

I need some help actually writing the SCP into the proper format to match what the site uses.

We need to add things in such as: Containment procedures, Origin of the SCP, Details of the SCP (Ones that wouldn't be revealed in the test log)

I have some general ideas for the last one, but containment and origin I haven't though up yet if someone wants to work on those.

For how the pen looks, I was thinking of it being a Child's pen, as in a pen decorated to be sold to a child.

Since its for making treasure maps, the body of the pen would be covered in iconic pirate images as well as a picture of a treasure map that wraps around the body of the pen.

Another thing that I thought might be interesting to add to the SCP was that this pen would have the words "Guaranteed Adventure" Imprinted on the pen that other pens from the same manufacturer would lack. Would set the SCP apart and add to its mystery.

I've just been thinking through how the pen would work in different situations, some we may decide to not keep for the final copy. I'll try to get everything together in my head to post it

Different scenarios:
1. Pen given to a blind man. The blind man seems to be immune to the pens effects. When the blind man is told of the pen's capabilities he is then able to use the properties of the pen, drawing a perfect map despite being blind.
2. Testing of the "Child's pen" on children has been denied by whoever run the foundation in the SCP universe.
3. What if the pen is given to a Cartographer, or a modern day pirate.
4. Pen is used to draw map on a globe. Map seems to direct the viewer to take hidden passages through the world.

Also, the "Treasure" would only be able to be found if a person follows the map from beginning to end, so that people can't cheat and skip to the end, and thus skip whatever dangers the map might bring them through.

How's this for Containment?

SCP-### is to remain locked in a stainless steel safe when not in testing.  Paper or another writing surface is to remain nearby the safe in the event SCP-### is activated so as to prevent the affected party from using the pen on themselves.  Access to SCP-### is restricted unless it is commissioned to be used during testing to prevent unnecessary activation

That sounds pretty good I'd say. I don't think it need extensive containment protocols since its just a pen when not in use, but I'm not sure if they have a minimum length for that sort of thing on the SCP site.
