I keep an eye out. Even though we aren't on the same field as the Colossus, I'm aware it can sense us, and has no problem with either mode of attack; sneaking or outright.
All we need is to keep an eye out when it arrives.
And keep aloft until then. The integrity of these clouds isn't nearly as steady as the field above.
I lift my head up, attuning to the electricity building in the air. Another lightning strike? But this one isn't headed toward us. It crashes in the distance, with a great rumble like thunder.
I turn my head, and my eyes widen. The metal-armored Energy Colossus raises from the crater left by the strike, splaying great powerful wings, and giving a great hateful screech. He flaps a few times, and hurries back into the air of this lower field. The skies of the field darken, as they had above, and it hovers in place. Lightning flashes in the distance, but no sound comes from it. Could he be?
He is. He's about to clap his wings together for a way worse version of my "Thunder Clap".
I turn back to the others...
"Well...THAT was unexpected."
