The colossus switches to its light form, minimizing the lasers damage and evading the impact of the stone. It dive bombs from the air, light streaking in a deadly wave behind it. The colossus flies down, seemingly determined to wash the entire cloud layer in its wave of death, but backs off at the last moment. It flaps in midair for a moment, then turns back, avoiding entering the immediate area of the Old One's bones. It rises up, hovering just below the boundary of the cloud layer above. Visible, but to far away for any conventional attacks.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
