I look to either side, and dismay that the wraiths have a taste for energy.

And all I have to work with is energy.

I back up, and think a second. Then I cast out my perception, and notice that a few are electrical and magnetic wraiths.

Perhaps I can use that to my advantage, and make them attack each other.

A stray wraith hovers over Bug, zapping him with his ambient energy and looking at him with hungry eyes.

I send a slight electrical shock to Bug. If he stays still too long, he'll sink through the clouds and fall to his doom.

I throw a few laser beams at the nearest wraiths, hoping to fend them off.

[Philote]

A wraith opens its mouth up wide, beginning to swallow the incoming beam. The laser proves to be too much for the wraith though as it bursts from the overloaded energy.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

An idea hits me as I zap the Energy Wraiths left and right.

Energy includes electromagnetism. And electromagnetism includes EMPs.

Maybe I can combine that with my Thunder Clap.

I rub my hands together to build up electromagnetic power. Here goes nothing.

[Philote]

The EMP scrambles the wraiths electrical spirits, evaporating a couple and knocking the others back. The wraiths shriek and then retreat in terror. Hiding in the clouds and behind the metal skeleton, watching hungrily.

I throw Ice Shards at the wraiths and skeleton hoping to  get some headshots.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Anyone up for some Combo moves?" I shout.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Ooh! Ooh! Pick me!" I volunteer.  "I think some earth propelled by my thunder clap might do some real damage."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Let's do it!" I raise a large stone in preperation.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Indeed!"

I charge the thunder clap to high power as the others fend them off. And when the projectile attack gets close enough to the wraiths, I'll retract the electrical energy behind the rock, so they have nothing to take from the attack other than damage.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

I notice the combination attack begin but continue using darkness to fend off any wraiths that come near me.

"you think we can try to electrocute them with water? Bug melt some of my ice shards and let's try it!"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

I follow up our combo attack with some sand blasts.

[Philote]

The combo  blast from Marv and Wulf flies through the clouds, scarring off the wraiths that were hiding there, causing them to fly into the air and then take off to hide somewhere further away from the group.

The electrocuted water strikes the metallic bones, charging them with energy and attracting the wraiths that were hiding behind it. The wraiths become too distracted feasting on the energy to bother the group for a little while.

The remaining shadow and sand blasts take care of any wraiths remaining. With the wraith's energy no longer interfering, Wulf can sense the direction of an energy source again, coming from one end of the metallic spine.
