A thunderous cry rings out in the distance, a piercing shriek trembling with thunder.

[FrozenDarkFlame]

gets a tingle down my spine "Damn thunder."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

(Alright, time for me to make my first post as Noire!)


I look up and see the stupid bird come at me yet again and dodge to the side to avoid its talons, tripping over the dead body of one of my comrades as I do so. Before the colossus can impale me on its talons as I'm lying there, my last comrade, the team leader, jumps in between me and the colossus screaming, "Couris Noire! Couris! (Run Noire! Run!)"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Energy Colossus ascends again for a power divebomb, changing its energy element now into hateful electricity. It would have been light, to do away with Noire, but it's noticed newcomers, and wants to test our strengths and weaknesses. The skies darken overhead...

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

I take the time to jump back up and form a scythe of solid darkness before noticing the skies have darkened. I say in confusion, "Il pleut? (It rains?)"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"I don't know what you said, but I think we may need to take cover soon. In case it rains..."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Je sais... mais qui êtes-vous? (I know... but who are you?)"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Alright! Time to kill me a colossus!"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Not sure quite what you're saying, but if you need anything, I'm Wulf, and we obviously have similar goals. We came to get rid of this Colossus."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

I smile having heard one word I can understand 'Colossus.'

"Je ne comprenais pas le langue que vous parlez mais je m'appelle Noire. (I do not understand the language that you speak but my name is Noire.)"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

I extend my hand for a handshake, and show Noire my power by making a ball of electricity in my hand.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

I start to extend my hand for the handshake but yank it back the second I see the spark of electricity. I hold the scythe of solid darkness in between me and the other person.

"Vous êtes comme le colossus. (You are like the colossus.)"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Hey, whoa, I just wanted you to see I have powers like the Energy Colossus. No need to get all 'scary Umbrakinesis'...I mean no harm..." I put my hands up to clear any confusion, remembering how scary Raven was in Teen Titans.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

I slowly lower my scythe and spin around scanning for the colossus in the sky and the source of the thunder.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Energy Colossus has ascended high, and far into the clouds of the upper field. Only the scattered lightning bolt is a sign of him. He watches carefully to find the right place to strike.

I watch and wait.
