 I walk up to the man, and check his pulse.

"He's gone..." I look back to the others, perceiving no electrical signals passing through his body, "And from what I can tell, this isn't just from starvation or lack of resources. My guess is, our monster got to him."

"We should move quickly to see if he has-had any companions who are still alive!"
