That was pretty good.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I broke down and posted my Cover and Page 1 on DeviantART because of peer pressure from fellow contestants.

I think you made it look too easy beating up on his character.

Uh.....that avatar......

Don't worry, Nigel gets in a few good hits later. But beating Nigel thoroughly is necessary to prompt the conversation they'll have later.

my new ava was part of a joke with Partulla-red, my opponent. She and I have been chatting a lot.

There are a bunch of little sketches and images I make while chatting with other contestants in Galactic Smackdown. Usually, I draw humorous stuff to mess with them or contribute to a joke. I don't usually post those images and they just pile up in my stash.

There's some weird stuff in there...

I saw. The two characters didn't get into much of a fight though.

A fight wasn't required by the round. Technically, a fight is never required. You simply have to defeat your opponent and that can mean many different things. All I had to do was get the ticket. If I wanted to I could have avoided any conflict at all and just have had Talis barter for the ticket.

Besides, do you know how hard it is to draw fight scenes reliably?

I thought it was a fighting tournament

And no  but you didn't seem like you were having a problem

I'll definitely try to run my scripts past y'all in the future (if there is one) to prevent these kinds of oversights. There will be more fighting in Round 2 if I win.

Now we need to bribe the judges.....just to be sure.

Hey, Marv, I tried contacting you on Facebook, and I wasn't able to reach you, so I'd like to set the request before you here. You know how you did the map of Gammara for Lords of Creation, right? Well, do you think you could do one of Celadon, for me? I can give you an idea of what I had in mind (names of lands, how they're positioned, certain landmarks, etc), if you're interested.

You remember when I showed you that map of Celadon some years ago? Well, I've decided, at last, to revisit the concept. I don't like the shape at all. All the different lands converge on one big blob of land. Little to no creativity at all. And I'd like for you to give the land a bit more life: more realistic division of land, rather than a big huge Pangaea.

Here's the original map I came up:

Okay, so all of these I'm saying are occupied. Whether you want to denote different types of houses, hovels, huts, castles, hotels, etc, is up to you. I'm not picky about that. I just want some detail for the land itself.

Arboralia, is a land scattered enchanted forests, including one huge central forest. Waterfalls, lakes, valleys (however that works) springs, rivers--one huge lake, and one gigantic tree set aside from all the others (and each other).

Frostflame Island straddles the northern/southern hemispheres. The Fire Side (Vulcan) has volcanoes, volcanic faults, fire pits, etc. The Ice Side (Polaris) is filled with glaciers mountains, frozen lakes/rivers, etc. Each also has a portal to the other.

Gandrei is civilized, but I won't trouble you for little building icons to determine settled places. If you want to add those, that's cool, but I mostly want a typical green land. Quite a few flat plains. Maybe some major roads, woods, rivers, lakes, etc?

Habador is a hilly and mountainous land. Tall peaks, lots of mountain ranges. In the valleys between any two mountain ranges, there is likely a village. Also, there's caves, and a couple holes in the ground (quarries). A village by the sea.

Illyrion is more hilly. It has a combo of ancient Greek, Roman and Native American landmarks (amphitheaters, temples, shrines, Mayan and Aztec pyramids, etc). Forests, a few mountains, caves, waterfalls, etc? Oh, and a Stonehenge.

The Kroma Islands are an archipelago in the sea. Naturally, there's seven main islands. One stands for each of the colors of the rainbow (but each actual island is normal color). Around them, there are a lots of itty-bitty tiny islands interwoven.

Lethe Island is partly plains, then as you get further inland, you see forests and hills and waterfalls and rivers, until you finally get up to the Hub. It resembles a dormant volcano, but it's really a nexus between the different dimensions.

Mygea is the desert land. A few pyramids here and there, a few temples, a few obelisks, few settlements along the course of the couple of rivers that run through it. Also a few oases--maybe three, but leave at least one untouched/unsettled.

Safaria is scattered about with a few forests here and there. It's got a couple of mountains (literally two), a few caves, rivers, lakes, a field of geysers, and near the sea, a large jungle with a lagoon. Oh, and also a pit set off to the side.

Sciops is darker. It's stormy (don't need to show that with weather signs or anything, just saying), and there are a lot of forests with scrawny/dead trees. Also, there are swamps and old haunted castles and dungeons. A single big mountain?

Worhammr Island is encircled with a beach leading up to a range of mountains (they literally form a rough ring, with one passage through the north, south, east and west). Within, of course, forests, hills, plains, lakes, rivers, etc.

There are also clusters of islands in the middle of the sea. Some of which are lush and filled with vegetation. Others are barren and lifeless. A few island chains with geysers and/or volcanoes, etc.

I think that covers about everything.

So, I'm feeling sort of fancy now, because my sketch of a Siren has been featured on another website outside of DeviantArt.

It's nothing huge, but I'm rather proud.

You should have used this version
