I got a new, more professional Wacom tablet recently and I've begun a sort of Digital sketchbook. I've done a few anatomy studies, a few concept sketches and other things. I'm not sure if I'll post any of them to DA though.

It's got a lot of neat little feature like programmable buttons and such, but the big deal is how smooth everything works with it. I was using a cheap off brand tablet before, but this tablet just works so well. The pressure sensitivity is amazing and the accuracy is spot on, its even got a sort of dial pad I can use to alter brush sizes and zoom in and out with at a touch. I love it. It's also really improved my sketching.

 I'm not actually sure if it's necessarily awesome, but I've posted some of my sketches of superheroes on DeviantArt. All those times you've seen me list different superheroes I've made up over the years--I just put 'em down on paper, and finally took time to upload them for you guys to see.

 I am about 1/3 of the way done with submitting the proper sketches I've done. I hope to start more superhero sketches in the near future, though, in addition to redoing all the old mini-pics I've done (smaller, and much more solid lines, as opposed to the sketch style). I prefer mini-pic style, just cause it's quicker, and far less tedious. Sketches are reserved for hugely important characters (or characters I hope to be hugely important), while mini-pics can be heroes, mythical creatures, or just doodles to pass the time.

 Anyway, take a look at my gallery, and tell me what you think! I'd love to know your opinions!

 I stopped off at Techne's pic, for now, but I'll try to resume later on today.

Wulf, I got bored while working on my Round 2 entry for CC and took a break to draw one of your Celadon Characters. I picked one at random and ended up drawing Treelo.

I hope you don't mind that I didn't ask first. I did it sort of on a whim.

Glad you like it. I'm really trying to improve my work and using other people's characters is a great way to stay out of falling into a rut.

 Well, feel free to make use of whatever characters you like. As I said before, I trust your judgment. Plus, I've always wanted to see them put to greater detail. So, feel free, if the urge ever hits you to put them to animation or the like. You won't see me complaining.

Though, naturally, I'd prefer you consult me beforehand, if ever you color them.
